View Full Version : Worst Movie EVER!!!!

To borrow a line from the comic book store guy on "The Simpsons"
I had the displeasure of viewing the "worst movie ever" this weekend.

"Rollerball," starring Chris Klein, LL Cool J. and Joh Stamos' wife.

I am warning you, this film is soooo bad, you'll have to take a shower afterwards to wash the bad movie ickyness from your body. Avoid it at Blockbuster Video. Just walk away.

There is no script. There is no plot. There is no memorable scenes or dialogue. Everyone involved with this film should never be allowed to make movies again.

Do yourself a favor, rent the 1975 original starring James Cahn. It is a billion times better than this piece of garbage.

Anyway, this film is now my pick as the worst film ever made. Anyone else have a worst movie ever???

I saw this one a few years ago called "Dracula Dead and Loving it". That was soooooo dumb. Also the "Psycho" remake.

Any movie you see on Mystery Science Theater 3000 is bad. The worst movie in my opinion, though, is Irwin Allen's The Swarm. That movie has an excellent cast (Michael Caine, Fred MacMurray, Slim Pickens, Patty Duke, Henry Fonda) but everything else sucked. The writing was horrible, the plot was horrible, and it didn't help that many of the characters in the movie die.

That's why it sucked. The original movie was very good with an excellent cast but in the remake the guy who played Norman Bates wasn't even scary. Tony Perkins was much more convincing. As far as I'm concerned they should have just rereleased the original movie like they did with "Grease".

Seriously, one of the worst movies I've seen has already been mentioned. The Psycho remake- I love the 4 movies with Tony Perkins, but Vince Vaugn just didn't cut it as the Norman Bates kind of fella.

The writers and creative personel on the show believe that may have well been the worst film they ever put on the show.

I agree. That movie is horrific.

Also, I thought Brave Heart was a terrible movie. My dad rented it a long time ago because his brother had told him that it was a good movie and he had died, so my dad and I decided to rent the movie. Well, the movie absolutely sucked! We both hated that film! And, also I'm not too much of a fan in movies that are of the genre of, well, I guess it was fantasy. But, it was one of the worst top ten films of all time in my opinion.

What? 'Braveheart' isn't a fantasy movie! Despite a few historical inaccuracies it is essentially a true story - or at least based on true events. It certainly isn't fantasy!

Longshot with Screech,Britney Spears and Kenny Rogers...

That wasnt a movie..It was a gimmick created by Lou Pearlman to make money off his former artists. It was made liek 3 years ago, and all the people in it(Britney SPears, nsync...) did it as a personal favor..Thats why they had such small parts.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I just wanted to note that I believe these movies people mentioned are nowhere near the worst ever.

First off:

The Godfather
-excellent movie, regarded as possibly one of the top 10 movies of all time. Nominated for Best Picture, won Best Director, won Best Leading Actor. Al Pacino, James Caan, and Robert Duvall all nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Braveheart
-though not a favorite it was very well done, and uh, won Best Picture and Best Director Oscars.

Babe
- good, solid, cute movie that was even nominated for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor

Lord of the Rings
-though not a Tolkein fan, I appreciated its quality and was highly entertained. Also, nominated for 13 of Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director and won 4 including Cinematography and Best Score.

These are my opinions, and I just used the Oscars to back me up.
Though the Academy Awards isnt right on all the time, they far from nominate anything that can be considered the worst.
Their biggest crime is not including some excellent films and nominees that may be better than the ones nominated.

Oh and finally:
I kinda liked "Mumford."
It may have been boring to some, but in no movie review book will you see one star or "bomb" next to it.

callmetootie
10-24-2002, 11:16 AM
Babe was a good film, but both Braveheart and LOTR were epic rip-offs of other films.

What films did they rip off?
I can understand maybe Braveheart with some other sweeping epic movie (please name it though), but LOTR- who did they rip off?

I mean it's based on Tolkein's book so how could that be?
Did another movie exhibit simliar cinematography because it sure isn't the story they ripped off.

Please tell me which movies they ripped off.

I know Tom Cruise are in both of those movies & i have no interest in seeing Far & Away. Sylvester Stallone has made a few terrible movies such as Judge Dredd, Oscar, CopLand, Driven. Wasn't Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sinbad in Jingle All The Way? Arnold has played in some terrible movies also like The Last Action Hero, Total Recall, Predator, Raw Deal, Conan The Barbarian & Conan The Destroyer, Red Sonja. Kadeem Hardison has played in a lot of bad movies like Gunmen, A Vampire In Brooklyn, Def By Temptation.

I beg to differ. It's not as good as 6th Sense and the ending sort of fell flat but it was an excellent movie. I don't know if it's Oscar-worthy but, IMI, it does not fall into the category of "worst movie ever." Last night I saw Tarzan, the Ape Man with Bo Derek and I have to say, it sucks. It has literally no action whatsoever. It is cheesy, poorly acted, and is boring. This movie is strictly for Bo-peepers. Like Leonard Maltin says, "If you really want to see Derek unclothed, buy a pinup calendar."

I really liked 12 Monkeys.
Very well done, well acted, and the time travel/change history paradox is very effective. You have to watch it to the end.

Brad Pitt (who was nominated for an Oscar for his role) and Bruce Willis were great.

Terry Gilliam movies take a little patience (perhaps a little slow going to start) but the rewards are worth it.
