I was officially kicked off AOL because I was warned for cursing in a chatroom, and some fool reported me...now first of all, how come you can't curse in chatrooms, but they allow you to put nasty pictures of women in them? And how come they put host in the kids chatrooms? You cant put pics in chat rooms, you can link to them and if so if you simply Notfiy AOL about them they will get in trouble as well.... and they put hosts in aol KO chats probably cause the chatroom is supposed to remain clean(considering kids are in it).

LOL, I realized that after reading the first paragraph over, lol.

Anyhow, why not cancel AOL temporaily until they let you back on... that way, you won't have to pay the bills. ;)

You won't get in trouble because someone notified aol on you. I have been notified before too and I never got in trouble and that was over a year ago so they obviously arent going to do anything. They have other things to worry about probably then stopping people from cussing.. sooo dont worry!!!

You will only be kicked off AOL if you break the TOS and you get notified about it 3 times in a 6 month period, after 6 monthes all your warnings and stuff are cleared off....

Well I didn't mean to repeat it twice..but believe it or not, I have been in some adult chatrooms(just out of curiosity!) and people were scrolling womens body parts in the chatrooms. I don't know how they do it..but the point is, how come they let you do that, but when you curse in a chatroom, and someone notify aol, they warn you, and if you do it again, they kick you off for 60 days? But instead of going back on aol after 2 months, we just got earthlink instead of that overpretective aol. :confused:

Breezy, With AOL when signing up to it you agreed to the TOS, IN The TOS it says you can't do stuff such as curse and scroll and post porno links and stuff in chatrooms, They did not get in trouble when scrolling all that because nobody notified AOL about it..... When you cursed, someone Notified AOL...

When I was 8 or 9 we had AOL but I was reported for going in a chatroom and calling everybody *******s. Then I got Internet Explorer/MSN it's great feels like heaven when there is no AOL.

When I was 9 I got reported for sending a chain letter.... I was like "WTgoddamnF?" it's a chainletter for Christ's sake!

That happened to me too! I was like geez...if I reported everyone who sent me a chain letter.......

Thats what I mean! They acually allow people to report people for cursing and sending chain letters..you should be able to curse all you want to..now I have earthlink, and I don't have to go through all of that. Why can't aol be like this? Geez, people sure have a lot of time on their hands these days...:rolleyes:
