This is tragic, he had twins - a 5 year old boy and a girl and another baby born in August. My thoughts and prayers with his family First, Jack Buck and now this - this is very sad news for the Cardinals organization and the league.

An autopsy of Darryl Kile hasn't been done yet so the cause of death is still unknown although they're saying that he died in his sleep. It is especially sad considering that he was only 33 years old and that he was married with three young kids. Earlier this week legendary St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Jack Buck passed away so this has definately been a sad week for the Cardinals and for the city of St. Louis. Darryl Kile and Jack Buck will both be missed.

RIP Jack Buck 1924-2002
RIP Darryl Kile 1968-2002

This a tragic loss for the Cardinal family. First Mr. Buck, which was expected, and now Darryl Kile. He was only 33. It is so sad. I feel so very sorry for his family-his wife, 5yr old twins, and ten month old baby. This is so incredibly unexpected. The autopsy will be perfomed tomorrow. It will be interesting to see the cause of death, especially since he just passed a complete physical back in Spring Training and hasn't been complaining with any symptoms.

R.I.P. Darryl Kile 1968-2002
