Virus Warning! Pictures On This Board!

VIRUS ALERT! Those pictures that were in Caitlin's (Teddy's Gurl<I think) Contained viruses. I opened them, finding 3 days later, there was a virus on my computer. That was the only thing opened for months. I found this out because I was on my computer, I have this computer game eGames, and I hit it by mistake and had to rename it. I was trying to retype eGames into it, instead, with everything I typed out came I AM F***ING GAY

It wasn't starred out. If you opend those pictures in the post "Anyone else see how disturbed my friend is", Take extreme caution if the virus hasn't attaked already.

Thanks for the warning. Fortunately, I haven't open any pics on that thread. You should contact TJ (PM or e:mail). If there is a virus, he can remove the thread.

.......I opened them, and I scanned with Norton yesterday, and I never found anything. So maybe it only gets certain computers or something..

OMG, I opened them...does NE1 kno of NEway I cud scan to see if I have a virus? Like wut was it called? HELP! I wud be in soooooooooo much trouble if there was a virus!!

Scan with Norton! But don't worry, nothing came up on my computer, so don't fret.

Don't worry! I opened it and nothing was wrong on my computer either! And my scanner scans everytime I start, so I know nothing happened. :D

I don't think there IS any virus, because I've checked with Norton, and Sam, I don't know what's wrong with your computer but honestly, those pictures (If I'm thinking of the ones you are thinking of) the pictures are from an advertising website that makes profit, so I honestly doubt there are any viruses in the pictures

Have you updated your virus definations? Update em then try, I dont think its a virus cause the only virus that can infect pics u also have to have a certain program thats a virus as well for pics to be infected and all the computers have to have the program as well, ITs hard to understand, But this virus just came out a week ago and Norton thinks it has not spread to any computers, And Just because you dont download things doesnt mean you can't get a virus, Whenever you go to websites it saves those pics and stuff on the site under you temp internet files, You may have got that virus just by visiting a website, I have got viruses before just by going to websites....... I didn't scan it! It came upp one day on my computer. I AM ****ING GAY on one of my icons I clicked on. we have Anti Virus, but, it freakign sux.

There issssssssss noooooooooo virus onnnnnnn theeeeeeee piccccccctures!!!!!!!!! If anyone on these boards has a virus, they got it from somewhere else! You can even save the pictures to a disk and then scan them! Virus free!

We may be able to find out where the virus came from if ya can just tell us the name of it....

I don't know the name of the virus! That is the only thing on our computer we opened that month! There WAS a virus! How would you like it if you were trying to type something in, and all that cam up was I AM ****ING GAY! not starred out! We got rid of it tho,. I am 99.999 percent sure that is what it was from. BTW, who would wanna look at those pics anyway, or run a site like that with out having a scam.

Well you're always welcome to voice your opinion but honestly, there prolly is not a virus. If there was sooooo many more people would be complaining, the board members and a lot of my friends as well.

Polniac, I checked Nortons Website and the virus it looks like you have is Keypanic.Trojan Virus, here is what norton says about it....


"This Trojan arrives in an email attachment. The name of the attachment changes, but "funny" usually is part of it. Superfunny.exe and Sofunny.exe are two examples that have been reported.

KeyPanic.Trojan does the following:

When you type, an alternate message is displayed, for example:

I am so f__king gay."

God I told you! There was NO VIRUS on the pictures! I took them 4 places to scan them, and nothing came up! And I doubt that my house, school, cousins, or friends house's virus protection software are out to date, considering they are all updated.

I'm glad the pics didn't contain a virus. I had heard on the news or maybe it was online about a virus being spread through pictures. So when somebody posted this little topic, it freaked me out. My computer is already slow enough as it is without a virus. Anyways, I'm glad it isn't the pics.
