which one do you prefer?


for me...real world. i don't like road rules. but i like the real world road rules challenges.

Real World of course. I got hooked right before the Hawaii season when they were having that marathon showing all the episodes of past Real World seasons.
And then the Hawaii season was just awesome. My personally think it is the best reality show ever to be broadcasted ten times better than that Survivor show.

I favor Road Rules more. I like all the challenges they have to do and the fact they get to travel all over the place and interact in different settings with other people. :)

I prefer the Real World. I've seen all seasons, although I didn't see many episodes from the first NY or London. It's the other way around for Road Rules--I've seen only a few seasons all the way through (Northern Trail, Europe, Australia), and the others I haven't seen all the episodes. It's weird because I am totally hooked on Battle of the Sexes which is closer to Road Rules, as far as challanges go. I can't miss an episode of it.

I used to like Real World, but I like Road Rules better now. An I love RW/RR Battle of the Sexes. I'm waiting for the new one, South Seas, but in the meanwhile, Northern Trail is airing.

What do you mean Northern Trail is airing? MTV hasn't shown an episode of Road Rules since the last season was on. And I haven't seen Northern Trail in ages.

Oh sorry, I meant on my local station. It's syndicated on the WB here in Colorado.

You Lucky Duck. When You said Northern Trail was on now, I immediately thought you meant on mtv. I didn't even know mtv shows aired on any local stations in syndication. Wish we had that in Washington.

Yea, I've never really watched the earlier seasons, so I'm dying to see all of them. And Northern Trail actually ended just last night, so Road Rules All-Stars is airing tonight. I've never heard of it, but I'm excited. Then in two weeks, they're airing Europe. I guess they're not going in Season order, but I'm glad that at least I get to see it.

I think I remember the All-Stars. It was in about 98 I think. Sean from Boston RW and Rachel from San Francisco RW were a couple of the people on it. That's where they first met, and later they got married.

When MTV was still pretty decent, they would show old episodes of Real World and Road Rules for like an hour in the afternoons. Now, MTV has completely turned their back on anything old, and showing old shows just does not happen anymore. Can't cheat the kids out of their shows like "Hits" and "TRL in the afternoon!" Heck, that's about the only way to catch videos. (Not like I catch them though.) Anyways, I always look foward to new seasons of RR and RW, because a few days before they premiere, MTV has marathons of past seasons. I do wish I had a station that would show reruns.
