Marilyn, how did she die?

We know that Marilyn Monroe was the sexiest person in the world back then, but how did she die? She had been drugged and overdosed to death, was it suicide or murder? I don't think anyone will ever know. There is a chance that Marilyn was murdered, she had mafia connections, had an affair with the president, but other than that who would have had the motive to kill her? There is also a chance that she commited sucide, when she was a baby and child she was in and out of foster homes. She was in 12 foster home before she was even 16! That must have affected her, she also had pill and alcohol habits, maybe one day she took too many. She had never contemplated suicide ever, why would she do it. She made it big and was finally a "somebody" what do you all think? I think that Marilyn was murdered because why would she have had supositories (sp?) up her anal area, couldn't she have taken the pills by mouth? I believe it will forever remain a mystery unless somebody confesses. When she was younger she was Norma Jean I don't think she really accepted herself, she dyed her hair blonde and became a sex symbol although before Marilyn she was a model. Was she murdered, or was it suicide?

I think it was murder too. When they performed an autopsy didn't she have a black eye or something? That was kind of odd. But yeah, I think it was murder. jmo

A question I have is, why was Robert F. Kennedy driving around neighborhood the night she died....I personally dont know if it's a homicide or if she commited suicide, there's just too much stuff happening that night that's strange, that easily be linked to her death...I heard her house keeper and psychiatrist worked together to murder her also :p

I dont really know, because she WAS in a mental hospital for awhile too. I wish that she wasnt dead, but i think that's part of her fame, you know? She would have slowly gotten less and less famous, so i think that maybe she killed herself, thinking about getting less and less famous.

Maybe the president got her pregnant and killed her to save his reputation. There are sssssoooooo many different ways she could have died. She was great in films and a beautiful person... so sad. I put a beautiful picture of her as my avatar.

Yes she looks beautiful on your avatar Lucille. I think it was murder. Why would Robert poke his nose around there that same day? She died in 62. The next year Kennedy died in 63. There were alot of secrets...............

What if both their deaths were planned? By some other party? What if someone in the gov't wanted them dead? I read in a book that he was involved with UFO investigations and was planning to release information to the public. It's scary to think about, but I also wonder about JFK Jr.s' death and wonder if the gov't had something to do with his death, as well. :eek:

Yes lots of Ufologists Believe JFK was going to reveal the truth about the UFO/ALIEN coverup so then the government killed him so he couldn't,

Good question! Maybe they think it might destroy religion if they say that UFOs exist. Maybe there's something about our genetic makeup that they aren't telling us if they found something out while doing the autopsy on the aliens. Who knows!

I think the Kennedys had something to do with it. I heard somewhere that Marilyn kept a diary that had details about her affairs with the Kennedys and after she died, the diary myteriously dissapeared.

The Kennedys were involved, but not directly. Since it was a well-known fact that she was a pill popper and boozer, it was easy to stage an overdose/suicide without it looking like murder.
This is my theory: She was with a trusted friend that night, who happened to also be a friend of the Kennedys. A closer friend of the Kennedys. She was already messed up on a lot of drugs. The person that was with her just kept giving her more drugs, and in her intoxicated state kept taking them all the way to excess. Or, they slipped a massive amount of drugs she was already taking into a drink. This way nothing foreign was in the system, and it could look like she accidentally took too much.
JFK couldn't have his affair with Marilyn well publicized. Look what happened with Clinton and Lewinsky. Stuff like that can ruin a politicians career, even more so in the straight-laced early '60s. The best way to keep Marilyn from talking? Get her out of the picture...completely.

Because if the public knew that there was definetly other life forms out there, they'd panic. Can you imagine what would happen if Bush went on TV today and made an announcement saying "There is other life out there in the universe. Here is a picture." The majority of people would absolutely flip out! The thought that we are not alone is improbable to most people, and if it were proven that we are indeed not alone, it would cause massive chaos. People would think it's the end of the world, with visions of Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds".

I don't have an opinion about whether she died from an accidental overdose or suicide or murder - not enough facts to work with. Joyce Carol Oat's novel, "Blonde" based on Norma Jean's life, ended with Robert Kennedy being involved with her death. But...that's a novel, a fiction.

What Krystal said about the affair being a scandle, and comparing it to what happened to Clinton... actually, in those days, the press had an agreement not to go into things of that sort. They knew about it, without a doubt. So I don't think the Kennedy's were worried about that. There may have been something else that someone was worried about, but affairs just weren't fair game in those times.

Even if Bush told everyone that there was other life in the universe, I don't think it would create a panic. I mean, UFOs have been spotted since the 2nd world war, so that has given the aliens about 57 years since 1945 and no aliens have attacked the earth yet, so other than the worry that the gov't might not want to destroy religious beliefs, I don't think there is any real danger. If the aliens had planned to do something evil to our planet, they would probably have done it by now.

Anyone ever see The Seven Year Itch? She was really great in that movie, I think somewhere I read that people had rumors that the day before Marilyn died the president split up with her so she killed herself. I don't believe that at all though.
