New Trips
Everyone sat quietly looking through papers in the division when finally Raina spoke up, "It's a good thing cap put us all on the case or we wouldn't be this far"
Jinny replied by simply shaking her head at Raina before looking at some more papers
Kate came out.
"Our suspect has moved to a different location, New York City" Kate said
"How do you know it's him?" Magda asked
"Same thing he did here kill his victims and hang them in front of places the latest being a marie groin"
Suddenly Jinny started to laugh, "Yeah when he hung it outside the division and Magda found the body…" Jinny laughed, "I was right behind her she was so scared she jumped back and knocked me over" Jinny continued to laugh
"It wasn't funny" Magda said not ammused
"But at least it was to our advantage he killed a man that we were after at the time so we got to drop that case" Jinny replied
"Well you know what the woman he killed he killed Marie Groin is a drug dealer" Kate said
"So what he kills crime commiters?" Jinny asked
"It appears so" Kate replied
"So what are we going to do?" Magda asked
"I'm sending you to New York City with ADA Blumenthal" Kate replied
Jinny looked at Kate sceptically.
"Why not just let the NYPD handle it" Jinny asked
"They're short on inspectors anyways since 9/11" Kate replied
Jinny nodded
"So who's all going to be in the van?" Raina asked
"Well the van can seat 8 including the driver so we'll have 2 drivers Jinny Magda ADA Blumenthal and you plus all the supplies etc" Kate replied
"So basically you're going to cram us all in a van which had better have air-conditioning and send us to New York City?" Jinny asked
"Right on" Kate replied with a smile before leaving for her office
"New York City here we come" Magda said to Jinny with a half smile
Kate came back out of her office "you're leaving the day after tomorrow go home start backing after lunch"
"Where will we sleep on this little---" Jinny paused trying to find the right words " vacation"
"The vans big the drivers will show you" Kate replied before returning to her office
~The day of leaving for New York City~
The sun had barely risen when Jinny got out of her cab in the division parking lot and headed over to the van. Teddy had already arrived
"Where do I Put my bag?" Jinny asked
One of the drivers pointed to the trunk of the van but took Jinny's pillow and sleeping bag to a different area
"You two sit in the backseat" the driver said
Jinny sat at one end of the seat Teddy at the other.
"Sit next to her" the driver said
After they were seated together the driver piled Jinny and Teddy's sleeping bag and pillows next to them in the backseat.
Finally Magda arrived. After her things were packed in Magda was motioned to sit in the middle seat.
"Mam you sure you want that bag?" the driver asked Jinny who was holding a small bag
"Yep" Jinny replied
"Okay the microwave is over there" the driver said "ADA Blumenthal you sleep on the seat, Inspector Exstead there is a pullout mattress under the seat which you can lay on the floor , Inspector Remeriaz you sleep on the seat. Alright we're ready to go"
