Amen to that! The Kings got gipped-but it was their own fault to an extent. If only they had FIVE Mike Bibby's...
LOSE LAKERS LOSE!

 Black man with moves trapped in a white man's body.
All I gotta say to Kidd and the Nets is, "Let them dern Lakers have it. Show NO mercy."

New Jersey in 6 games! Please I don't want to see a Lakers 3 peat, Phil Jackson has enough rings already..

I'll go for that one! Jackson isn't as good as the rings on his finger make him out to be.
As long as the Nets can find a way to contain Shaq, they have them beat in every other aspect of the game.

Like the Stanely Cup finals, I'm also boycotting the NBA finals. The Lakers will win their 3 championship with a sweep or in 5. I think its only fitting that my Mavs will dethrown the Lakers next season, unlike what the 'Queens' were unable to do.
Go Mavs!

I put my money on the Lakers. I've always been a Lakers fan ever since Magic Johnsons rain.

I hate the Yankees, I hate the Rams, I hate the Lakers.
See the trend here? They've all been in the way of my local teams.
Oakland A's. San Francisco 49ers, Sacramento Kings.
Suffice to say, I dislike the Diamondbacks as well, (SF Giants fan), but it was magic seeing them beat the Yankees.
By the way, the Nets suck. It would take a miracle for the Nets to even win one game, much less FOUR. Besides, the REAL championship final was last week here in California.
Tangent: Gosh, just imagine how much Shaq smells by the fourth quarter. That's the real reason the Kings lost.

Well, I agree with about every word you said up their, minus hating the Rams. I can stand them to a certain extent. However...
I can't stand the dern Yankees. Don't even get me started on how they're the luckiest team in baseball and if it was for the million their owner spent every September to BUY them a team for October they wouldn't make it past the AL East. They're not going all the way this year though. Someone in the AL WILL shut them down.
As for those Lakers...they lucked up that the Kings shyed off the way they did. The Lakers ARE NOT the best team in the NBA this year, despite what Phil Jackson may think. They lack in many different aspects.
The NBA West is the dominate conference. They have the more dominate teams. The Nets are my team in this thing though. The odds are against them but hey-if the Hurricanes can do it so can the Nets. They held their own with the Lakers in the second half of last night's game.
Your tangent is one I've said many times this past week. How Divac and Webber could hug Shaq the way they did without passing out is an accomplishment in itself. I wonder if he showers and changes uniforms in between the halfs because otherwise...whew.
Dern Yankees and Lucky Lakers...

Since the A's are blowing it without Giambi, maybe the Mariners will finally give the Yanks a run for their money.
Definitely. The best team in the league IS the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers don't have a team. They have Shaq and Kobe.
Lol, give Divac and Webber a ring just for suffering through that.

Mother, I beg to differ. The Yankees will NOT be world champions this year. They'll be lucky if they even make it to the dance.
Cokies, agree with you totally. The A's are dying with Giambi-both Giambis. I wish he wouldn't have sold them out to go play with those dern Yanks. If the Angels keep going the way they are they may be the surprise team of it all this year...
Yep, two people hold the Lakers together. Unfortunately, those two peole aren't too great themselves at times.
Divac and Webber---give 'em a prize!
 I knew Kidd didn't play like no white boy. He can move out on that court;)

YOUR hole?! YOUR hole?! What do you mean by YOUR hole? I worked and slaved to dig a perfect hole and now you're claiming it as YOUR hole?! I spent 10 hours days and 14 hour nights sweating until I was at a lethally low weight-nothing but bones- in order to dig my hole! Not only did I dig it by myself, but I furnished it as well. I keep it clean, too. Disposing of weeds and trimming the roots one a monthly basis. Roots from the oak tree you planted above me, need I remind you. I allow you to visit and live for free as I continue to do all the work and serve you to the best of my ability during your stay. YET, you still have the NERVE to call it YOUR hole?! YOUR hole...ha!
America will not tolerate anyone who harbors terrorists. This hole will not tolerate anyone who roots for those dern Yankees. So, Mother, I demand of you, either change your team or please pack up your Yankee memorabilia and leave MY hole.
...Have a nice day and I'll be sure to stop by for Sunday lunch tomorrow, Mother:wave:
(I don't hold grudges too long as you can see;))

To begin with, I just wanted to point out I don't exactly have a door...
Next, I'd like to tell the pit dog down the street to sick Steinbrenner...then again the man would probably pay the dang dog off.
You can calmly exit the hole now and take all memorabilia with you...Yankee memoribilia that is...

I'm a huge basketball fan, but this year I could care less who wins -- the Lakers and the Nets are my two LEAST favorite teams in the NBA. Next year -- Milwaukee vs. Sacramento for the finals! Don't underestimate Milwaukee -- they're going to make it in the 2002-2003 season. And Sacramento, had they made their free-throws in game seven instead of missing 15, would be there now.
GO BUCKS GO BUCKS GO BUCKS GO BUCKS!
