More classic TV is on the way from Fox this fall, with another highly-anticipated series, The Mary Tyler Moore Show: The Complete First Season. Arriving on 9/24, this 24-episode, 4-disc set is presented in 4:3 full frame with new 2.0 stereo remixes, plus plenty of extras. All-new is the 88-minute documentary "She Can Turn the World on with Her Smile: The Making of The Mary Tyler Moore Show," audio commentaries on 3 episodes (participants TBA), an Emmy clip montage, and trivia challenge. Retail is $49.95 for the set.

I just got an e-mail today saying that you can pre-order the DVD on Amazon.com now. That means that you tell them you want it, and when it's realeased on Sept. 24, they ship it to you. I want to buy it offline, but I thought I'd pass the info along to those interested.

I may never get my Golden Girls on DVD, but Mary Tyler Moore sure is a great compromise. I can't wait!

Awesome! It aint my fav. show, but it beats watching some current shows nowadays! MTM on DVD will bring me back to the days when Nick@Nite was about CLASSIC tv!

No! I've heard a lot of people got theirs at Best Buy. But just about any video store should have it, or at least be able to order it for you.

For those interested, the second season of the Mary Tyler Moore Show will be available in March 2003--at least that's according to the insert that came with the DVD's.
I'm so glad I invested in one of those. :wave:
