Oh this is one of my favorite movies I have two Favorite characters Chunk and Sluth there so funny together my favorite part is when the Fertalies have Chunck and Chunck tells them about the time he went to the movies and took some fake puck that is so halirious.

I love that movie! I love the fake puke story too. :happyface I was told by one of my friends though that if you didn't see it as a kid or teenager, you wouldn't appreciate it as much, if at all. Thoughts?

Definately Chunk. If you've watched the DVD commentary, you'll know that he had the chicken pox during the filming of the "truffle-shuffle" scene. Look very, very closely for the spots!

Look at the words below my username, and you'll see what I think of the Goonies.

I love The Goonies, it was my favourite movie when I was a child (I agree with Brypie though - The Goonies wouldn't mean as much to me if I hadn't first seen it when I was wee).
My favourite character was Mouth.

I'm absolutely dying to get my hands on a copy of the DVD. It was supposed to get released over here in April 2002........then they changed the release date till May...........then they said it wasn't coming out till August............and now the new 'official release date' for the UK Goonies DVD is 1st January 2003!!!
Perhaps, if I'm lucky, I'll get my hands on a copy of the DVD before I'm old and grey!!!!!! I've got the movie on tape - twice! -but it's not the same. I wanna see it in widescreen and I wanna see that cool comentary. I also wanna see the legendary 'octopus scene'! :D

I went out this morning and bought the latest issue of the New Musical Express with the Osbournes on the cover and I was well chuffed to see that Jack was wearing a Goonies t-shirt. :D
Does anyone know where I can get a Goonies shirt from? I've never seen 'em in any shops but you must be able to get 'em over the net or something.
Here's a picture of the magazine cover. It's not very clear but it's the only one I could find (I couldn't scan my copy for the simple fact that I don't own a scanner). You can't see Jack's shirt very well but it's got a picture of Chunk and Sloth on it and the immortal line "Sloth love Chunk!"

eMerchandise (http://www.emerchandise.com/browse/GOONIES/A5165) has about 6-7 different Goonies t-shirts available.

I've seen that shirt before. Actually all the Goths in our skool wear em. You could prolly find them if you have llike a "Hot Topic" or some other Gothic (chains, spikes, black clothing.....NEthing like that) store.

I don't really like the film that- I guess it's because the first time I saw it I was kinda young, and any film my sister liked I hated- and she liked this. It's not something I'd watch alot- when it's on tv now though (it is quite frequently) then I watch it- cos I find it sorta funny. One favourite phrase we use in school is of sloth shouting 'HEY YOU GUUUUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYS!'- not many people get it cos they haven't really heard of the Goonies. Though it isn't something I could watch alot- I have seen it alot when I was younger

What's the infamous 'octopus scene'? I'm intrigued!
Also- apparently the film companies are still very serious about a Goonies Sequel. It's thought the original cast and their kids will be used- I say just use the original cast. If they all have kids in it, then that means the original cast will be in it for like five minutes to rescue them. Also- the guy that played Sloth is dead- the only reason the kids thing would've been cool would've been to see a baby Sloth!

Yes, I've also heard this. I hope it is true. A little Sloth would be funny. They should make him cute. But it would be good for Cory Feldman to be in another film. He was talented has a child. I'm sure he hasn't LOST talent. And the kid who played Micky was also in Lord of the Rings 1-3 he's "Sam". Haven't seen Data in anything since then.
