The worst talk show in my opion is Jerry Springer. That show ruined Talk shows that were about real people and not celebrities. That show is why I only watch celebrity talk shows any more.

Ricki Lake is my favourite talk show host and I like watching Sally Jesse too. Sally's kinda scary looking but she's ok. :D

I Never have been a fan of Opra's, mostly just because I'm not a fan of talk shows in general but Opra has become a bit more of an icon than should be humanly possible. I might have this slightly incorrect but I think when she ended her book of the month club (or how ever often it was that she declared a book worth reading) she said that it was becoming more difficult to find a good book to recommend. That is a rediculous declaration and an insult to butt-loads of superb writers the world over.

Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake, and Jenny Jones... all VERY stupid talk shows. Maury used to be my favorite but now his show like sucks. Fox ruined it. I love Oprah though! She's awesome.

I disagree with you all about "The Jerry Springer Show". That show is NOT the worst talk show at all. Obviously, people find the show hilarious and worthy watching. His show has lasted about a decade and still going! I know it's like a circus but that is what makes such a great talk show! The topics he has on his show are very interesting and do HAPPEN in real life. "The Jerry Springer Show" opens our eyes and allows us to discover the world in a new way that's never been discovered before unlike any other talk show that has! "The Jerry Springer Show" is truly one of the best, if not THE BEST!

There might be a few people like guests on the Jerry Springer show but in your typical suburban neighborhood you aren't going to find an obese male prostitute who makes loves to sandwiches and hasn't seen the light of a day in 10 years.















No I don't know if that type of person has ever been on the show but thats the kind of freaks he has on there.

Oprah. I could care less about what celebrities think. I used to like Springer when he had more than one topic; i.e; the klan, cheating couples, etc. Then every day the show was about transexuals and it got boring. It's kinda funny that his show started out as a Donahue clone. The only thing that prevents me from changing the channel on Maury Povich is his lie detector tests for infidelity and paternity tests. Every other topic is boring, and the guy has zero personality.

I think Jerry Springer is the worst, with Jenny Jones coming in a close second. I actually used to watch Jenny Jones back when she first came out. She actually did interesting topics and it wasn't always about sleazy people sleeping around and lie detector tests and crap.

I used to like Maury as well but now he always does the same topics like paternity tests, granting children wishes, and revealing secrets. Totally boring now.

I still like Ricki Lake but I never really get a chance to watch it.

Saly was another show I really liked until she was forced to conform to the trash talk rage. Though I have to admit that some of the boot camp episodes were fun to watch. I was really bummed that she got cancelled just when she decided to go back to her old, more calmer, format.

I love "The Jerry Springer Show" and I have vague memories of "Donahue." I like all the others too, except for Oprah. My #1 fave was "Queen Latifah." That show was so darn good and interesting. It had trash without being trashy. I miss it! Damn people should have never cancelled!!

I used to find Jerry Springer hilarious because of all the sick stuff like mom/daughter/niece threesomes, brothers and sister couples and all those weird people but I think it's really boring and dumb now since it's always people cheating on people and then fighting..yawn.

I love Maury now, even though it should be called the paternity test show because that's what the majority of all episodes are. He has some really meaningful episodes like "Out of Control Hair." which had guests with huge, damaged, and unmanageable hair. This one 13 year old girl was on it and she had a huge huge huge afro and people at school made fun of her for it and she had no friends because of her hair. Then of course Maury gave her and all the other guests hair makeovers and she came out with really straight hair. They brought her back for an update show this week and she said no one makes fun of her anymore and she made new friends. He's also given a new house along with toys, clothes, and household appliances to a family that lost their apartment when their building caught on fire at 1 in the morning. I also love those episodes where a person and one of their parents have been separated almost all their lives and they unite on the show. The paternity test ones get old but they're kind of interesting too. Maury is pretty good because it can be really emotional but also really funny, unlike Jerry which is pure comedy and Montel which is pure drama.

I love Jerry. I cant wait til Im 21 and can see him live. Jennys cool.. but damn DNA test show results have to be the most boring and stupid. Keep your damn legs closed, and maybe you'll know who the dad is.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it but I do watch Springer, but I don't watch the whole hour, just the beginning and the part with the "heart-warming" segment when people in the audience stand up and rag on the people on stage. I can't watch a whole hour of that show, though. Now every show is the same--people cheating on each other. Whenever I see two females fighting over a guy, and I see the guy, especially if he's less than attractive(which is usually the case), I always think, OMG, I can't believe they're fighting over him!! I think it's funny at the beginning when the announcer says "Voted the worst show ever" like they're proud of that! All I know is that you could not pay me enough to be on that show and be humilated like that. Those people who go on there to be told they've been cheated on, they deserve what they've got coming for being idiots for going on the show!!

I watch Jerry but I'm still putting him down as worst talk show.

I can't stand Jerry Springer. What does he stand for besides chaos and hate. Obviously he has to get his thrills from somewhere though, so why not bring on a bunch of losers and watch them go at it and still get no where with their sorry lives. Makes no sense to me. I agree with MsConanOBrien, keep your legs closed and you'll know who the dad is.

I like Dr. Phil and Montel. I agree they can be a little overwhelming, but in the long run, they're there to help, not make matters worse like Jerry Springer.

How many makeovers can you watch Jenny Jones staff do? I mean I am sure she had other topics (?) but seems every time I turned the show on it was about the way a person looked.

Sally was great at first, but after its 11th season it started going down-hill (when it changed its name from Sally Jesse Rapahel to just Sally it got soooo bad i couldn't watch...)

Sure Kathie Lee Gifford was annoying but the show itself was a class act.

And Oprah is the most classy and original talk show to ever hit the air... Oprah is a class act, she was the first one to declare she would never again to trash talk and she stuck to that vow changing her show into a classy show with tasteful, relevant topics. Oprah is the greatest talk show host EVER... And the ratings support that (# 1 talk show ever, #1 in women 18-49) also when it debuted it ROUTIENLY beat-out previous talk-champ Phil Donahue, something no one else had ever done before. Oprah is GREAT... But latley i also like The View, The Ellen De Genres Show and SOMETIMES the Sharon Osbourne Show.
