I just got my new T.V. Guide and I looked up what the next Simpsons episode is about. It's says, "Two college girls mistake Lisa for a peer; Bart lives inside a bubble to contain the infection he got from a Chinese mosquito." This episode sounds so stupid! Honestly, where are they getting this material?!? I really believe it's time.

I've been watching The Simpsons since it first started in 1990 and in the last couple of years it has gotten so bad.
Nearly all of the recent new episodes have been terrible and recently I gave up watching an episode for the first time because it was so bad.
It is time to pull the plug now, I think all the good times are gone.

It has been renewed for a 23rd season, so apparently it still isn't time 8 years later, at least as far as the network is concerned!

Now I was five years old when the series first aired it's pilot episode and so my parents didn't allow me to watch this show when I was a kid very much because of its adult humor and language. However, I was lucky enough to see a some of the early episodes from season 1 and season 2. Now an adult, I have all the episodes of seasons 1-20 and you can see a definite humor change between those seasons it seems that anymore that Simpsons are running out of ideas. In the early days it seemed like that the episodes were based on real-life events that they could put into the series but anymore it seems that they are trying much to hard in their humor which makes it not quite as funny as it use to be. They need to end it soon before the network decides to cancel it themselves.

...Fox has already renewed "THE SIMPSONS" through 2014. I believe they want it to last 25 seasons, then give it a big sendoff in May 2014. Besides, the show is still the "anchor" of their "Animation Domination" schedule on Sunday night. What will succeed it by then?
