That's right. They're putting up a statue of her in Minneapolis, where she threw her hat in the air. It's being dedicated May 8, and TV Land is celebrating by showing a 3 hour marathon.

Kristen Welcome Home, MARY!!! It's good to have you back where you belong!! lol The local news showed clips of MARY already and the huge crowd in MPLS today, despite cloudy weather. AT 6:45 AM they unveiled it and everyone got their own tams. I unfortunately was not there. MARY will be on LARRY KING LIVE tonite as well.This is a pleasant scene for MPLS, our own 'Statue of Liberty', so to speak. Watch the MARYTHON as well on TVLAND. :wave: :talk: :happyface :rolleyes: :p ;) :cool:

TVLand is NOT giving Mary a trophy. TVLand, along with the city of Minneapolis, is dedicating a bronze statue of Mary Tyler Moore which will be displayed there.
