What chances are there of getting to see the pilot show?
I'm pretty sure you could purchase the pilot on video. Have you checked any retail sites like Amazon.com?
Try the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com)
they might be able to link you up to a site that sells it.

Hi there
If you mean "Audition Show", first episode "New Recruits" in an earlier gestation, pretty good, if you've got the bucks.
It's held in the Nat Hiken archive at the University of Wisconsin.

They have some sort of "bone fide" researcher stipulation, but I don't think it's too stringent a test to pass.
If you meant on video, it's just not in circulation.
You can read a report on it here, Jimmy Little as the Chaplain :O) It's Jack Warden who played Henshaw, by the way.

about the same chances of successfully crossing a train track with an oncoming moving train.
