Anything of the Spice Girls... they had a new song but it kinda sucked... I think I'm they only one in the world who actually bought their new CD. It was WEIRD. But there was at least 2 good songs on there. Hmm.

I Know Where It's At by All Saints
I can only think of these two songs for now. I haven't heard these songs on the radio for quite awhile.

"How do I Live Without you?" by Leann Rhimes
"I'm Loving Angels Instead" by Robbie Williams
"She's all I Ever Had" by Ricky Martin

My local radio station used to play these songs all the time, but now I have to pull out my CD's to hear them.

That's the sad thing about music today - nobody writes songs that have any staying power.
Sure, a song might get played to death on radio and MTV but once it's charted you never hear it again cos the radio stations are plugging the next "big thing". I'm sick of hearing that bloody N*Sync and Nelly tune right now. And if I hear 'How You Remind Me' one more time I'm gonna destroy something! But I betcha that, in a couple of months time, you probably won't even remember either of these songs.
Bands don't write anthems anymore, you know what I mean? Queen wrote 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in 1975, it's been number 1 on 3 separate occasions and you still hear it today. Black Sabbath wrote 'Paranoid' in 1970 and it's still considered a classic. None of these stupid manufactured pop acts that clog up the charts today could even dream of writing songs that!

Oh I know what you mean! I LOVE Queen! Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorite songs. Did you ever hear the Bicycle song? That's is my favorite song!!! I LOVE that song! And I'm with ya on the Nickelback song. I have another to add to the list. The Santana song with Rob Smith. OMG I mean I like him, it's just I've heard that song wayyyyy toooooo much and I just change the station right away when I hear that or Nickelback. It was okay at first, but now I could Die!

I think it was really big when I was in 7th grade. God, it must've came on every 2 seconds. I thought it was so irritating when it came out, so that is one song I'm glad has faded.
That's all I can think of now....

I ALWAYS hear "The Ghost Of You And Me." It was so popular. I still love it.
Oh, yeah. "So In Love With 2." I remember that... I don't like it, but I remember it.
I'd have to say "Goodbye" by the Spice Girls. That song is so pretty. It was so underrated.

"Near, far, where ever you are, I know that my heart will go ooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Lets saty forever this way...."
Okay, I'll quit. Just couldn't resist. ;)
I have to admit, I miss the Macarena!
Also, whatever happened to Ace of Base? "The Sign" was all anybody was singing when I was in middle school.
And a blast from my childhood, "Ice Ice Baby" Is Vanilla Ice dead, or is he just frozen next to Austin Powers?

Achey Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cirus.
They played it SO much when he came out with it. There was one country station that was brand new that played it for 24 hours when they first came on the air.
I like the song and all, but that was just WAY over kill.
Some one mentioned the Macarena. Just be glad you live wherever you do, they STILL play it down here. Hey, thats what I get for living in little Mexico. :D :joke:

That Whitney Houston song, I Will Always Love You, from the movie, The Bodyguard. That song was burning a hole in everyone's head a few years back.

"Jack...Jack! Wake up, Jack! The boats are coming for us! Jack..Jack? Jack! I'll never let go, Jack...I'll never let go..."
Ok. I'm done. I had to do my little scene there.

I hated the video for 'Give It To You'. Jordan completely ignored the girl at the fairground untill she changed her clothes and he saw what a babe she was and then he wouldn't leave her alone. I thought that was pretty naff!

He said that it was because he wanted the video to be like 'Grease' the movie. Yeah, right! At least Danny liked Sandy before the "transformation." LOL OK that was WAAAY OT.

its funny...I went to Mexico a few years ago and they played Achy Breaky Heart at every club I went to!!!!I guess they still think Billy Ray Cyrus is an American icon of sorts!!!!They also played Macarena everywhere I went...but it was still a little popular by then. They played "The Electric Slide"(remember THAT one???!!!)so I guess Mexico takes the hot dance hit of each era and holds onto it tight!!!!!
