LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Since the show was resurrected in 1998 with host Tom Bergeron, Whoopi Goldberg (”Strong Medicine,” ”Ghost”) has been the center square on CBS' "Hollywood Squares." But now Goldberg will leave the show at the end of the season be cause she and producers can't agree on a new contract, reports the Associated Press.
Goldberg will also no longer serve as one of the show's Executive Producers.
The final shows for the season are currently in production right now and will air in May.
Because of previous commitments, "Hollywood Squares" will air at least a few more seasons. CBS has not announced yet who will replace Goldberg.
