Well, I got it recently and watched just about all the episodes (other than the 1 or 2 I had seen 1000 times). It was great to see these classics episodes again, UNEDITED! Man, the entire episodes (including beginning & end credits) run just about 26 minutes! Can you imagine .... only 4 minutes for commercials?!! Wow, those were the days (pardon the pun). I had forgotten about the cool little 1-minute wrap-up scenes at the very end of every episode, thanks to N@N never playing them. Oh, I hope they keep bringing out more and more seasons on DVD! You just don't realize how much you are missing until you see these shows UNEDITED! My only complaint about the DVD: Plain, plain, plain! It would have been cool to have some extras: Like an audio track of the LONG version of Archie and Edith singing "Those were the days" (which has extra lyrics). Or the complete version of the closing theme "Remembering You." The original pilot with the different Mike and Gloria would have been great too.

I just got it myself. I never even knew about those little scenes at the end. Unfoetunally, it had no other features and that stinks.

What's the cheapest place anybody's ever seen it. Oh, and don't tell me auctions.

Well, here is a useful site that compares DVD prices for all the major online retailers.

Generally, I find that www.deepdiscountdvd.com is usually the cheapest. And, they have free shipping. Hope this helps.

What were the little "Wrap Up" scenes on AITF that Nick never shows? Did they come on just before the closing credits? Can you list an example? Thanks!

They came on before the freeze frame of the house and the closing credits. But N@N and TV Land don't always edit them out. If you watch the episodes "Gloria Discovers Women's Lib" and "The First And Last Supper" on N@N and TV Land, they don't edit them. But in other episodes like "Archie In The Cellar" N@N cuts out the final scene, but TV Land leaves it in.

My best friend has this. I've seen some of it before. BTW, those little wrap-up scenes are called tags.

I noticed a blooper in the wrap up scene (tags) in episode #7 - 'Mike's Hippie Friends Come To Visit.' When Edith, Gloria and Mike are trying to wake Archie up you can see a microphone hanging down from the top of the screen.
