Do you like the village/town/city you live in? I used to live in CHICAGO, so I was never bored there. But now that I live ina tiny little town of only 13,000, it's sooo boring. All we have to do is go to Wally world, to the coffee shop, or bowling or the movies and thats all! We have N-O-T-H-I-N-G on out town for teens. And they wonder why the crime rate is so high. :rolleyes: What else are they gonna do? BUt when I move out of here, I plan on living it up in a big city! I love the city! It's just so many people from everywhere and that can teach you a lot.

There are a few things I'd like to change about my town, but overall, I think it's a nice, safe, quiet town to live in.

No no... my Lisa Whelchel, the actress, my future mother-in-law.. she lives at the following household-

Lisa Whelchel Cauble
30408 Olympic street
Castaic, CA 91384.

You see, many people think this is a fan club address. It is not. I did a little bit of stalking concerning her old dead neighbor. I have prevailed in finding her house!!!

I hate my down. It's so dull. It's really run down and there's lot of crime for a fairly small town.

I love living in St. Charles, Missouri. This western suburb of St.
Louis has about 65, 000 people and is the second largest
municipality in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The people
there are very friendly

Are you 100% positive you don't live in my town? Let's see in my town we have 1 theatre and we just got the Walmart Supercenter in town. Don't let the words supercenter fool you, because it seems to have less than the plain old ordinary Walmart had. Oh yeah, we got a few burger joints and grocery stores. Not too much fun in my town, but for some reason I like it here. We don't have too much crime, and can actually walk outside without being mugged or robbed blind.

It's alright. I feel safe here.

There are three things that drive me nuts though-
1. Pretty soon there will be no open land. Buildings are popping up like crazy. A Target here, a Home Depot there, 16 mini-malls over there. Stupid thing is, most of the buildings are sitting empty. :rolleyes:

2. The snobbiest people in Iowa live in my town. The SNOBBIEST!!!

3. There are new houses popping up left and right and they all LOOK THE SAME!

It's like the Twilight Zone! Two same exact towns in different places. Creapy! We also have a Walmart Supercenter, 2 theaters(But Very small! 1 has 2 screens and the other has 3), 3 grocery stores, and a couple burger joints! But this place is growing way out of hand. In just 2 years, the town doubled, but they still refuse on building a mall or anymore stores. They were supposed to start building a Home Depot in Feb., but they didn't start yet. Typical of them to put something like that aside though. :rolleyes:

I would, but would it be safe? I mean you say it is on the top 50 most dangerous cities in America. I think you said 36??? I wouldn't wanna get killed.

:joke:

ANYWHERE but here would be nice right about now!

Oh yea, and about the movie theaters in my town, they NEVER play the movies ya want to see. Only the one's THEY want. How dumb.

L.A. is a nice city and there is always something to do here, I just don't like living in the city. The people aren't exactly what you would call friendly and in certain parts of the city, you can't even walk doen the street without worrying about getting shot becasue of what colors you have on. The suburbs are more quiet and you don't have to worry about driving down the wrong street and being shot at, plus the people are nicer and easier to get along with.

My town is probably pretty safe compared to other places. I don't like it here, but it's ok. Oh yeah, & there's so much to do! Spend a fun-filled weekend at the dollar store, go to Foodland, visit Go-Mart, eat at the very popular Pizza-Hut, and drive 30 miles to the nearest Wal-Mart to get everything else u need! There is NOTHING for kids to do here! So many people around here are snobby too. There's no reason for people in WV to be snotty especially in this town! This place is depressing, there's no jobs, and I feel sufocated cause we're surrounded by mountains so it's like living in a hole. N E way, I've dogged this place enough & yeah, I wouldn't mind moving. I could go on & on but I won't.:talk:

That's exactly what's happening in my town and I hate it. They are building so many new houses and stores on all the open land. It's getting so crowded and busy, and it seems like the people are becoming more rude too.

* Population of 20,000
* 3 elementary school
* 1 middle school
* 1 high school
* 2 private school. (1 k-9 and 1 all girls high school)

My town is pretty Dull and lifeless but if I didn't live here I wouldn't have the friends that I have today so if anything I would probably just like to change some things like make more clubs or places for the teens to hang out or maybe bring in a movie theater or a mall, well because all we have here is a bowling alley, Community Center and a food court. So for fun we mainly go out to our friends cabin and over to Farmers Valley (Cemetary) and scare people.

I wouldn't mind having a lot of buildings & stores popping up in my town. We don't even have a theater or bowling alley anymore. I would like to put in a theater & a place for teens to hang out. They should make a reality show here where they take celebrities from like CA & NY & make them try to survive here! :D

Springfield is nice. Just don't walk around downtown at night, and always carry some pepper spray!

:lol: honestly, I'm kidding. It's safe enough.

Also, I have one more question for ya. How big is Springfield? I imagine it's about as big as Colorado Springs. I think CO Springs has a population of about 125,000. Or is it smaller or maybe bigger? Just wondering. I'm not gonna like map out your town and plan an invasion or anything w/ troops and missles or anything. Honest! :D

My town is awesome. It is really small but that makes it cooler. There are under 21 dances every other friday (my brother got arrested at the one yesterday for possession of alchohol) there dead end roads for gettin skeed with out gettin caught you can go up the dump and ride quads and have drinkin parties and the Glassport Swimming pool,foodland,like 6 bars and 4 churches,pool path where you can drink,mama pepinos.

the houses are so close together I could jump on my friends roof right now if I wanted to and if you do somethin bad there are only 3 cop cars and it is easy to dip from them because of all the alleys
