Hi everyone,
I have a copy of "The Adventures of Pete and Pete: Classic Petes" on video for sale or trade. The video includes two episodes from The Adventures of Pete and Pete, "What We Did on Our Summer Vacation," and "Apocalypse Pete." Also included on the tape is a never-before-seen video bonus, "Artie's Superhero Workout." The box is worn but the video itself plays wonderfully.
Description from the back of the box: PETE'S BROTHER IS ALSO NAMED PETE. But if you think that's strange, wait until you meet their mom (who receives radio signals from the metal plate in her head), their dad, and their personal superhero friend Artie, The Strongest Man in the World. In two episodes from the critically acclaimed comedy, you'll watch the Petes try to unmask the mysterious ice cream man, Mr. Tastee. You'll visit the high-tech command center of the Great Prank War. And the never-before-seen Workout with Artie will whip you into superhero shape. Special guest appearances by REM's Michael Stipe and Kate Pierson of the B-52's.
I am willing to trade this for one or both of two things. Back in 1995, Kelloggs Frosted Mini Wheats offered a free cassette of music performed by Polaris, the band who plays the theme song, and other tunes on Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete & Pete titled "Happily Deranged Music From The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Featuring Polaris." I would be willing to trade the video for that if you have it. The second thing I would be willing to trade it for is "The Secret World of Alex Mack: In the Nick of Time," a video with two episodes from another classic Nickelodeon TV show, "The Secret World of Alex Mack." Please note: if you have one or both of the two items above and you're willing to trade it, it must be in very good condition with little to no wear.
If you are really desperate, and you don't have anything to trade for "The Adventures of Pete and Pete: Classic Petes," I can sell it for $50.00. Why am I selling it at such a high price? For a number of reasons. One being that the video is no longer available and EXTREMELY hard to find. It is also very sought-after. The last time I saw it on eBay.com, an internet auction site, it ended around $57.00. As a matter of fact pretty much all Pete and Pete merchandise that's posted on eBay ends at a high price. It is also very sought-after because it contains some of the more "classic" and memorable episodes of Pete and Pete on it, unlike the two other videos released.
If you are interested, respond to this post with your email address and your offer and I will email you ASAP. Just to let you know, I can only accept US CASH as a payment method. Thank you!
