Can anyone think of actors that were/are in two shows at the same time? A few come to mind:
Heather Locklear in TJ Hooker and...was it Dynasty? (forget)
Richard Deacon played Mel Cooly on The Dick Van Dyke Show as well as a character on Leave it to Beaver (I think).
Michael Boatman on Spin City and Arliss.
I don't know his name, but the actor who currently plays Gabe on Six Feet Under and the FOX hit Twenty Four.
That's all that comes to mind for me. :)

Esai Morales is on "NYPD Blue" and "American Family" (on PBS). Lisa Vidal was doing double duty on "Third Watch" and "The Division" for a while. Several actors did a daytime soap and a nighttime series at the same time: Josh Taylor ("Valerie"/"Hogan Family" and "Days of Our Lives"), Deidre Hall ("Days or Our Lives" and "Our House" for one year), Emma Samms ("General Hospital" and "Dynasty" briefly).
Ian Gomez was in both Norm and Felicity a few years back.
I don't know if this counts but Lisa Kudrow from Friends also had a minor role on Mad About You.

Kelly Ripa is on All My Children and also co-hosts with Regis Philbin on Regis & Kelly.
Oh, I also just remembered: Rena Sofer was on The Chronicle (recently canceled on SciFi Channel) and has a recurring role on Ed.

There were several regular cast members of "Petticoat Junction" who also played the same characters on a recurring basis on "Green Acres".

Okay, now I've got this on my mind. Will I ever be able to sleep again????? ;)
Anyway...
Pamela Anderson (Lee) was on Home Improvement for a while (as the "Tool Time" girl) at the same time that she was on Baywatch. She eventually went full-time only on Baywatch.

This is very interesting. I had no idea Robert Reed was on Mannix. I used to love that show, but was too young to remember all the characters. I just know I thought Mike Connors was handsome.
Thanks for the piece of trivia.

That "character on Leave it to Beaver" was Fred Rutherford, Lumpy's father.

I don't watch the show, so I had no idea who that character on Leave it to Beaver was, but I vaguely remember hearing that Richard Deacon acted on two shows simultaneously.

Harry Anderson was another guy who split time on shows. Harry starred on Night Court and popped in on Cheers from time to time.

Yeardly Smith and Hank Azaria. Yeardly does the voice for Lisa Simpson on The Simpsons and Hank does voices for several characters on the show. Yeardly and Hank were also both on Herman's Head which lasted from 1991 to 1994.

Though it is not a sitcom Richard Anderson and Martin E. Brooks both appeared on ABC's "Six Million Dollar Man" and NBC's "Bionic Woman" at the same time in 1977-78; the two appeared previously on both before bw jumped to another network in the fall of 1977.

Nancy Walker was on McMillan and Wife and Rhoda at the same time. I remember reading an article about how the studio would whisk her away from one studio to another in a limo.
Dorothy Lyman was still on All My Children as Opal Gardner when she started Mamas Family. But left AMC very soon after Mamas Family started.
Richard Dawson was still on Match Game when he began Family Feud.
Jillian Barberie is on Extreme Dating and GoodDay Live and the NFL PreShow.

I'm not sure if he was on both shows at the same time, but whoever played Sam the butcher on The Brady Bunch was
on All In The Family, too as Archie's friend Barney.
