what school sports do you play if any? is it like big if a freshman makes varsity for a certain sport?

a freshman making varsity is big...at my school. since we're like "scrubs"....but i don't play anything. i'm not good enough. lol. did u make freshman for varsity? if u did....good job! u'll be respected by peeps. lol. :D

I don't play anything, but my best friend is on the Women's Volleyball Team, and the girl on my floor is in Women's Hockey.

As to freshmen, well... Last year Jeff Smoker was a freshman, and he took Spartan Football to a new high! (Thank God, our normal QB Ryan Van Dyke sucks).

I was never into sports until I came to college though. Being at a Big Ten school may have helped... :crazy:

I was in cheerleadin for 3 days and it was the dumbest thing i ever did and i quit cuz it was gay and last year i was in basketball but i aint in it this year cuz i didnt feel like goin to the practices and stuff

I did volleyball this year, but i'm only in 8th grade and i suck. Really badly!! I won't be doing sports next year, but I am trying out for dance team next year.

At my school, making varsity (esp. if you're a freshman) is sort of big, but not totally. We have JV for only a couple sports, which I don't get -- we only have it for lacrosse and field hockey, but everything else seems to be varsity. So maybe for lacrosse and field hockey, making varsity is pretty cool, but if you make it for any other sports, it's just like, that WAS the only option.

But I'm only in 8th and I played volleyball, so I don't think I'll be hitting varsity (or junior) 'til next year.

for sports we either have varsity, jv, or freshman, but only a couple have just varsity and jv...


depending on the sport it is a big deal or not b/c like if its track since theres like a jv and a varsity its only sorta a big deal, but say if it was lacrosse or any major sport(girls hockey yah baby) it would be big...

I played Varsity basketball for 3 years. Then halfway through my Junior year I quit cause the coach was a jerk. I am laughing now cause Coach E lost his best player in Kasi Mullins. Who transferred to Jackson Co, KY.

I play on the golf team. There's only one girl's golf team and that's considered varsity and not a lot of girls play (we have 14 this year) so basically, anyone who wants to play is on the team.

I don't play any sports. Freshmen who make varsity at my school are usually really good because pretty much everyone plays some kind of sport, so there's a big deal made out of them.

Im on the JV fastpitch softball team and I played freshmen basketball for my high school. Im much better at softball then basketball.
