I think it was from the episode "Lucy Has Her Eyes Examined." She puts the hat on, then gives it to Ethel who wants it for the varsity drag dance she is going to do with Fred.

Hmm...

I'm not sure about this at all, but I'm thinking that it might be the hat that Lucy bought in the episode "Ricky Loses His Temper," where Lucy and Ricky have a bet. If Ricky loses his temper before Lucy buys another hat, then Ricky will pay for the hat that Lucy had already bought.

When she brings that first hat back to the store, she sees a turquoise hat that she can't resist and buys it.
