Hi, I'm new here, and have been introducin' myself at the boards of a few of my favorite shows. And of course, one of those is "Mr. Belvedere". :)
I loved it so much as a kid, and really identified with Wesley. My sister (4 years older---I'm 23) and I were really like Heather and Wesely, though I wasn't quite as sadistic, lol.
And it's funny cause now I've grown up, and Heather is my favorite character when I see the show. I just love her. I wrote Tracy Wells a letter a little while ago since I heard she loves to get mail, and that would just be too, too awesome if I get a response someday. :notworthy
This was one of the most realistic sitcoms ever made. All the characters really ring true. My sister and I were Heather and Wesley, my mom is Marsha...it's just amazing. I actually even made my mom a tape for her birthday a couple of years ago where I spliced together the most "Mommish" moments where Marsha acted just like my mom, and gave that to Mom as a birthday present. May sound different or a little odd, but I like to try and be creative.
I still can't believe that right here in the US, the show's freakin' birthplace, we can't get it on! Argh! Maybe someday we will prevail...we can but hope...
Well, that's a little on me and "Mr. B" in a nutshell. :) I'm so glad I found these boards!
