There is only one Robert Stack, and any replacement would pale in comparison.
Marie could get her own show.

I LOVE Maire, but why do you think she would be a good host for this show?

Marie's cool but I don't know if she would be a good host for UM.

Frankly, I don't see how she would fit into the show.

Nah, I prefer Phoebe Cates. I used to have a crush on her, circa Fast Times. Obvious reasons.

She can do murder stuff.

Bring back Keely Shaye Smith!!

As far as I'm concerned, the addition of Keely Shay Smith was UM's "jump-the-shark" moment. Bob doesn't need your help, Keely!!

I don't think the addition of Keely Shaye Smith was a "jump-the-shark" moment. The show only got better towards the end.

I think that little lady from Poltergeist with the funny voice would be great. She narrated Travel Channels' Worlds' Scariest Places and creeped everyone out.

Rober stack was the best i said this before and ill say it again he had a walk that was perfect a talk that was perfect and the way he presented himself was perfect the man never made a mistake atleast not on camara, this is a man who studdied under clarke gable, if they hire another host for this show he/she needs to develope their own style of presenting the segments, and if you would consider someone like marie osmond i think ud be better off with angelica huston.

A few years ago there was a show on Fox called Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? I think it might be on scifi channel now. The guy who hosted that would be great for UM. I think he was from star trek.

First, no-one can really replace Robert Stack! (I know he's passed away!) But Jonathan Frakes, who was the "Beyond Belief" host would be an adequate replacement, as someone previously mentioned. He's got just the correct amount of "coolness" to pull off the hosting duties....

I mentioned this before in a previous thread, but I think Stacy Keach would be a great choice. Several years ago he hosted a syndicated show called "Missing: Reward" (with very similar cases as UM) and his unmistakable voice and cool, smooth delivery were just perfect. I agree, no one can ever take Robert Stack's place, but Keach is also an older, well respected actor and he is my pick as host if they ever revive this series.

too bad they cannot redo unsolved mysteries as a new show but have it the way it was in its heyday

Too bad Stacy Keach is dead....or is that Robert Urich? I get them confused.

Robert Urich is the one who's dead, not Stacy Keach. You might be confusing Stacy Keach with his father, actor Stacy Keach, Sr., who died at the age of 88 in 2003. (Yes, the Stacy Keach that's been mentioned here is actually Stacy Keach, Jr., even though he's typically credited as Stacy Keach.)

Aaaahh...sorry Stacy!
