“Lights, Camera, Action”
Episode 9 of Gopher’s Gateway

Andy Blackerby and Kay Lindsay beamed onto the Hypothetical successfully. They walked down the corridor to the holodeck.
“So, we are going to test his design?” Kay Lindsay asked.
“Yes, Kay, we are. This will be like a design test—but much better. We can tour every part of his design in 3d without the interference of students on this holodeck of his.”
The two adults now stood outside the holodeck door. “Computer, access simulation Blackerby-Lindsay-three.”
“Simulation engaged. Enter when ready.” The holodeck doors opened. They walked onto the top of a parking deck.
“Where is this?” Blackerby asked.
“Come on! You of all people should know better! It’s Parking Deck C, in the very front of the school design.” They could see quite a bit from their vantage point. The lobby was directly under them, but could not be seen. Looking straight they could see the whole school. First, four grade buildings and seven elective buildings were connected by each other with high-tech pressurized tunnels. One gym, with a very small locker room jutting out the side was near the two massive playgrounds. The largest structure was the ten-thousand foot ‘maze-slide’. It looked like a McDonald’s playplace, but twenty thousand times larger.
“Wow!” Blackerby exclaimed. “This is some school. Let’s walk through it.” The two began to walk down the parking deck ramp.

Meagan Hall and Heather Allgood entered the Galleria with smiles. Thanks to the replicated money from Sean, they would go on a shopping spree before the lighting ceremony.
“We should find our friends first.” Meagan said as the left the first hall and was now looking down at the floor.
“Sean said to meet him at Chick-Fil-A.” Heather said, also looking down. The two walked for a while and saw someone they knew. “Hey, Sarah. We’re looking for Sean, care to join us?”
“Sure.” Sarah said. “But, I’ve got this money from Sean and I want to spend it.”
Meagan’s eyebrow arched. “Is there any girl that Sean didn’t replicate money for?”
“Just us beautiful ones.” Sarah responded as they stopped by the elevator door. Heather pressed the button. The door opened to reveal Sean and Lucy. All three of the girls secretly rolled their eyes.
Sean was smiling broadly. “Well…” He chuckled nervously. Being in an elevator alone with four beautiful girls that were older than you was bound to make anyone nervous. “The weather looks very good. No rain in sight after that afternoon storm. So…um…how are you three doing?”
“Fine. How are you?” Three of them responded at once.
“Heather, tell me, how did the Dizzy Derby go?”
“Well…”

“While Sean Sporman and Lucy Camden are gone for a time, that does not mean that the Olympics will not continue. In fact we have a team in the Olympics, Vertigo!” As Heather Allgood finished the announcement, the crowd cheered. Vertigo was a failed experiment by Andy Blackerby, the only failed one in fact. He had hoped that a rock band would bring the system popularity, but it failed, miserably. However, he had arranged them to be in something that was successful, the Hueytown Olympics. They no longer sang, which was fortunate for everyone.
“Well, let’s get to the Dizzy Derby. Meagan?”
Meagan Hall pressed the button on the random selection computer. “The selections are in! For Spormanworld, Brooke Thompson! For the Randomites, Liz Larson. For the Noneonones, Tiffany Kynard. For the Teachers, Ms. Toomey. And for Vertigo, Alexis Stanley. Let’s get ready to go.” The four students and one teacher lined up and placed both hands on the baseball bats. “Go!”
All five began spinning around the baseball bats. They did this for several times and began to run. Brooke Thompson was nearly running perfectly straight. On the other hand, Tiffany Kynard lost her balance and fell down on an air cushion. Suddenly, Liz Larson fell down as well. She bumped into Ms. Toomey, causing her to fall down. Brooke and Alexis continued to run. Brooke crossed the finish line only forty-seven hundredths of a second before Alexis did.
“Brooke Thompson is the winner! Four points for Spormanworld, three points for the teachers, two points for the Randomites and one point for the Noneonones.”

“Cool, so Brooke won?”
Meagan Hall turned to face Sean as they continued to walk through the mall. “Yes. That Vertigo girl didn’t do so bad either.”
“Hey, look, isn’t that—“
“Jordan Reeves at your service.” Sean only smiled a little. “I still think you are using mind control.”
“So, Heather, what happened next?”
“Well, next was Horse: Round Two!…”

“All right! Let’s get to Horse…round two! Meagan, selections please?”
Meagan Hall once again tapped the button on the random selection computer. “For Spormanworld, Meagan Hall.” Meagan laughed. “For the Randomites, Tiffany Self’s temporary replacement Jessica Ward. For the Noneonones, Stacie Tucker. For the Teachers, Mrs. Sullivan. And for the crazies of Vertigo, Zach Williams!”
Meagan walked from the computer to join the four others near the basketball goal as the always-cool holographic scoreboard changed for Horse.
“If you remember, Ashley Hampton of Noneonones won Round one a few days ago. Now, go!” After Heather’s announcement, the game began.
Meagan Hall had the chance to go first. Her shot barely missed as it hit the rim. Next, Jessica Ward shot from the free throw line and scored. Stacie Tucker shot from that position and missed. Next, Zach hurled the ball over the goal and into the crowd. Girls and boys alike screamed as the barely dodged the incoming orange ball. Back on the floor, Zach was doing some kind of crazy dance.
Heather flew her whistle. “Foul! Automatic letter against Zach of Vertigo.” Zach continued to dance as Mrs. Sullivan readied to shoot.

Andy Blackerby and Kay Lindsay walked into the ninth grade building of the holographic Spormanworld Academy. “I like those intrabuilding tunnels.” Commented Mrs. Lindsay. “They are twice as wide as Hueytown’s and can protect from weather.”
“And, I love the computer ports, alert lights and of course, the security system.” Blackerby added as they reached the center of the building.
“Finally! Something that can eliminate cigarettes, drugs, twentieth-century weapons or anything in violation.” They looked at the vending machines. “Vending Machines?”
Blackerby turned back toward Mrs. Lindsay. “Why, of course, Kay! Sean has lifted the ban on carbonated beverages.”
“Who will clean up the mess, Jerry the Janitor?”
Blackerby laughed. “No. Computer, add JD-Droid.” Suddenly, a small box-shaped droid appeared.
“I see. Let’s go see a classroom.”
“Good idea, Kay.” The two walked to a door and it opened automatically.

Assistant Superintendent Timothy Johnson sat in a dark room with the only illumination being the Class III Videophone and the lights from outside. “Are you ready?” He said to a voice on the videophone.
“Yes, plan G is now under execution. And, we have gotten rid of the non-corrupt members, but they may turn blabbermouth.”
“I think you six can get it done.”
“Yes.” The voice agreed. “Vertigo will destroy Sean Sporman and his friends.”

Sean Sporman smiled as three blonde girls he knew met him in the mall, near an escalator. “Hey, Jessica, Liz, Cathy.”
He was now surrounded on all sides by girls as he heard a familiar voice. “Hey, Sean, you left me at the table. And, please stop with the mind control.”
Sean smiled. “Why should I?” The girls looked at each other. “I’m just kidding. Let’s eat.”
“Ok! To Chick-Fil-A!” Jordan said.
“So, Heather, did anything else happen before the Quantum Distorion?”
“Yes, one more thing besides the Brighty encounter…a massive fight…”

Heather Allgood used the LCARS panel to replicate herself a Mountain Dew as she talked with Jonathan Reeves.
“So, Heather, you really like Sporman?” Jonathan asked as he replicated himself a Pepsi.
Heather took a sip and then responded. “Yes. Why do you ask?”
“Well, a couple of months ago…you liked…someone else. Before this started.”
“Why don’t you talk with your Wizard of Oz friend instead. There is a Tornado Watch in Kansas. Three warnings are in effect in southeastern counties.” Heather responded.
“Since when do you keep up with the weather. You planning on taking Sean’s job?”
Before Heather could respond, her combadge beeped that was attached to her T-shirt. “Heather, this is Mr. Swiney. There is a huge fight! It looks like a mosh pit out here. Bring the phasers!”
Heather readied her phaser and handed Johnathan one also. “Would you like to help?”
Johnathan smiled. “Ok. This time.” Jonathan held on tight to the Type-1 phaser as Meagan Hall and Brooke Stephens rushed out of the videophone room.
“What’s up?” Brooke Stephens asked.
“Yes, what is going on?” Meagan Hall added.
“A fight that even Mr. Swiney cannot stop. Grab your phasers and ready your personal shields. Meet us there…wherever it is.” Heather did not know where the fight was because Mr. Swiney did not specify.
“I would check behind Pine first.” Brooke Stephens suggested.
“It must be the lack of blonde hair.” Jonathan Reeves commented.
Heather and Meagan both glared at him as they walked out of the office. Phasers in hand, the five walked toward Pine. Instantly, they saw the huge mess. Nearly three hundred students were in a rough circle. And, most of them were fighting like crazy.
“No snow, no K4 flu, no PSI2000 virus. I don’t know what it could be!” Heather said.
“Have you tried normal teenage behavior? Since Sean is gone, they’ve gone wild!” Jonathan Reeves blurted.
Amy Ross suddenly came running out of the wild crowd, breathing heavily. She had a tear in her jeans, near her knee.
“Amy, what happened?” Jonathan asked.
“Bobby Serfal of the pranksters. He launched an egg rocket that smashed into six people. Then, Brandon Ogla instigated some more fights.” Amy stopped to catch her breath. “Where’s Sean?”
“He and Lucy are not here today.”
“I see. You have to stop this fight. They’ll destroy the school. Not that I would mind or anything!”
“Surround the group and fire on wide heavy stun!” Heather ordered. Each one surrounded the group of crazed teenagers and prepared to fire.
“Fire!” Heather ordered. Five wide, bright red phaser beams lanced out and struck the group.
Three hundred teenagers fell down into unconsciousness. “We did it!” Meagan exclaimed.

“Wow!” Sean said. “Those guys must have had an extra male chromosome!” Sean was smiling, but no one else was. “Sorry.”
Sean sat down, with two heavy Chick-Fil-A bags in hand at an empty 12-person table. “Ok. Meagan got a…”

June Gabert smiled as she crawled through a vent in Hueytown Juvenile. Behind her Peyton Freeman and Barbara Lowieque followed. “We’re finally getting out of here!” June happily exclaimed.
“Are you going to follow my proposal?” Barbara Lowieque inquired.
“Why should I? Plan G is my greatest yet!” June snapped back.
Barbara remained quiet as June kicked the vent open and began to run into the woods. “We’re going to use the Hawking’s instasite program. This will beam us directly to the Galleria Parking Deck. This is because after two seconds we’ll be locked in a force field. And, we can only do this once. Understood?”
The other two nodded.
“Let’s energize.”

Sean Sporman smiled as he ate another wonderful-tasting Chick-Fil-A chicken nugget. “Don’t you agree that Chick-Fil-A is the best of the fast food restaurants?”
Lucy Camden swallowed a consumed waffle frie. “Yes. I agree. They are just as good here as the ones where I used to live.”
“I see you have brought a lot of stuff.”
“Well, after the money you replicated for me, of course. I got all kinds of cool stuff.”
Sean smiled as something suddenly crashed through the roof. It looked like a hang glider pod. It landed in an area clear of people.
Everyone stood up at Sean’s table, quickly putting their fries and chicken back in the bag. Sean picked it up. “I’m not leaving this!” He raised his phaser and activated his personal shield with his other hand.
Five boys emerged from the capsule. One spoke up. “I’m Zach of Vertigo.”
Then they spoke in unison. “We’re here to annoy and we don’t like toys.”
“Derik: best of the best. I’ll destroy you in jest.”
“Zach: seemed large, but can attack a barge.”
“Courtney: lifting weights from noon ‘til eight.”
“Tyler: may not try, but will buy!”
“Drayton: I may sound funny, but I ain’t no bunny.”
“We’re here to eliminate the true evil, you!” The five malevolent boys of Vertigo said together.
Sean merely laughed. “You are outnumbered 12 to 5, a little more than 2 to 1. And, we have phasers and personal shields plus women. You have none of the above, Vertigo!”
Zach narrowed his eyes at Sean and his friends. “Spormanian fools! We have the weapons of true heroes! Transformiter cubes. Let’s transformite!”
The five held the cubes out and in a flash of light, they suddenly had costumes of different colors each.
Lucy Camden rolled her beautiful eyes. “Sorry, but the Power Rangers are protagonists and our child’s toys!”
“That’s where you are wrong!” Derik, in black, pointed his fingers at Sean, who was eating a chicken nugget out of the bag. Lasers flew from Derik’s fingertips and exploded floor around the group. Sarah and Jordan lost their balance and fell. Suddenly, Zach threw a round bomb and it exploded violently as the five evil ones ran away. Sean swallowed a waffle fry as he passed out.

Andy Blackerby was the first to enter the large holographic playground of Spormanworld “Holo”- Academy.
“Bye, Bye puny little Visionland!” Mrs. Lindsay exclaimed.
Andy Blackerby whistled. “Twelve custom roller coasters, forty-seven Mark 11 swing sets, twenty go-kart tracks, thirty six mini-golf courses and tons more. But, of course, the Sporman Maze-Slide.”
“Is it safe?” Mrs. Lindsay asked.
“Yes. All starfleet systems make this thing safe. A radar signature prevents air and spacecraft from crashing into it.”
Mrs. Lindsay smiled. “As they say, Cool. But, I’m curious. Where can we find Sean’s modified rules and schedules?”
“In the holographic OPS. Let’s go.” As they walked, unknown to them, a panel was blinking with a distress signal.

“Wake up.” Sean looked up to see a friend of his, Jessica Otwell.
“Jessica, where did you come from?” Sean sat up to find himself in a small crater. Around him lights flickered, half-operational. Also, letters from signs littered the ground as well as glass from broken windows. The mall was practically empty for the lighting ceremony that was to occur soon.
“We were here with a few of our friends just before the attack.” responded Tiffany Kynard.
“Thanks.” Sean said, standing up. “Now, to wake—“
Suddenly, a phaser beam cut under his chin. He turned to see June and her two allies.
“Wait—“ June suddenly stammered. “Your friends are already down. Destruction has been wrought. Don’t tell me you’ve turned evil against your buddies and flirts!”
“Now. It was the group of misfits known as Vertigo. Aren’t you allies with them?”
“No! But I will be!” June and Peyton ran off. Barbara, who remained still, seemed shocked.
“Peyton, I thought you were for peace!”
“Yeah, whatever!” She replied as she and June followed the path of destruction to find Vertigo.
“So,” Katie Brooks said. “Are you here to shoot us?”
“No.” Barbara said. “I’m here to help.” Sean smiled as Lucy Camden woke up.

“It’s good to see you finally got some sense.” Sean Sporman said as he ate a waffle fry. “So, what do you think that June and Peyton will do next?”
“Well, she will probably do what she said. Join Vertigo and destroy Hueytown High.”
“We have to stop her!” Jordan proclaimed.
“Agreed, lets get to the Hypothetical.” Sean said.
Barbara smiled as everyone began to dematerialize.

Andy Blackerby smiled in the command chair that was holographic in the holographic recreation of what was going to be the new school. “This chair sure is comfortable.”
Kay Lindsay smiled deviously. “Computer, delete chair.”
Andy Blackerby fell the ground with a thunk. “Kay!”
“No, No, No. Walking cliché.” Kay Lindsay continued to smile as Andy Blackerby sighed. “Well, anyway, this design is very efficient. I like it a lot.”
Suddenly, her combadge beeped. “This is Sporman, Mrs. Lindsay, respond please.”
“Sean, is something wrong? You were supposed to be at the Galleria.”
“We were attacked by June and a new enemy group…Vertigo.” Andy Blackerby frowned.
“We’ll be right there.”

On the bridge of the Hypothetical, Kay Lindsay and Andy Blackerby just appeared. “Good to see you, Sean.” Blackerby said.
“I just wish it was under better circumstances.”
“So, what is the plan?”
“The students will beam down and stun the enemy forces, wearing starfleet uniforms. If you don’t mind, you and Kay will command the starship. If you receive the number 47 in a signal, initiate sequence omega-seven. It will take you around the sun and back in time only to the beginning of the day.”
“Understood. OK, let’s go.”

June Gabert smiled with glee as she threw a photon grenade into Mr. Sellers’s room. It exploded brilliantly. The desk was destroyed, sending papers and wood fragments across the room. “Yes, I love this! Sean will probably break down and cry when he sees what I have done to his precious school.”
“I hope so!” Peyton agreed as she fired her phaser into the room, shattering two glass windows.
Suddenly, a blonde girl wearing casual clothing and carrying a bomb entered the room. “My name is Erin, and I’m on your side.”
June smiled. “Place the bomb here. If I’m right, half of Pine will be destroyed.” The three began to run out of the building. “Is there a remote detonation control?”
Erin smiled and handed June the remote control. “Here it is. I’ve placed eleven bombs in the other buildings. Hueytown High will be reduced to rubble!”
June pressed the small button that controlled the most recently-placed bomb. It exploded inside, and half of the building began to collapse in on itself. “Yeehaa!” Peyton exclaimed.
“Stop right there.” June felt herself bump into a personal shield. She turned slowly to see Sean and fifteen of his friends, holding phasers and wearing Starfleet uniforms.
“Sean! How did you know?” Suddenly, June remembered and looked at Barbara Loweique, wearing a Lieutenant’s science uniform. “I know. You traitor!”
“As if it wasn’t obvious, June!” Barbara said.
“Why don’t you just surrender, June?” Lucy Camden stated, pointing her phaser at the enemy.
“Never!” Suddenly, they began to run behind Pine.
“Follow me.” Sean said. “Sarah, Barbara, Allen, stay here!” The others followed Sean behind Pine. They saw what looked like a US Army tank, modified with a phaser cannon. Sean shot his phaser, but saw no visible effect. “Run away!” Then, the tank’s phaser emitter fired and impacted the art building, shattering windows and melting support beams. Also, debris flew everywhere.
“We should try firing our phasers together.” Heather said, adjusting her phaser to the highest setting. Heather and Sean fired at the same time from behind a tree. The beam impacted the tank, leaving a hole in it.
“We’ve found our solution, now let’s attack them!” Jordan proclaimed, firing his phaser at the same time Brooke Thompson fired hers, creating another breach, this time near the phaser cannon.
“I’ve activated the bombs! You have to leave if you want to survive!” Suddenly, June came out of the hatch and fired her phaser rifle, but the shot missed. She quickly scrambled back into the hatch.
“Sporman to Hypothetical, begin to beam us up. Mr. Blackerby, send a code seventy-three to the office.”
“Done. Beginning transport.” Looking left, the office began to lift out of the ground and shot into the sky. Then, the school began to explode…

“Sporman’s Log, the school has been destroyed by a tank stolen by Vertigo, and bombs activated by June and the newest enemy…Erin. However, this means that construction can begin on the new school, which has been approved by Andy Blackerby and Kay Lindsay. Also, three new staff members, suggested by the Crenshaw County Superintendent will be joining the project.”
Sean Sporman was chatting with Misty in the turbolift. “—and I think that this Starship is cool. But, what Pokemon do you have.” Sean smiled and pressed some buttons on a PADD.
“Go, Pokeball!” He threw a Pokeball as the turbolift stopped at the bridge and it landed near Jordan Reeves, the only one on the bridge. Out of came a small pink pocket monster that all three recognized.
“Jigglypuff!” Jordan and Misty exclaimed at the same time. Jigglypuff pulled out her microphone.
“Computer!” Jordan exclaimed. “Deactivate all holograms on the bridge!” Misty and Jigglypuff disappeared.
Jordan sighed. “Sean, what are you doing?”
“Just having some fun.”
“As usual…dirty diaper.” Sean rolled his eyes. Just then, Andy Blackerby walked into the room, followed by three teenage girls.
“I have the new tertiaries.”
One with red hair walked up first. “Just call me, Red.” She shook his hand.
A dark-haired girl shook Sean’s hand next. “Amy Rodgers, glad to meet you.”
Next, an attractive blonde shook Sean’s hand. Sean could hear Jordan sighing in distress. “Tina Adams, or ShockCee, either one is fine.” Sean smiled at the three.
“Welcome to the project.” Sean walked with the three to the turbolift. “So, have you seen the holodeck?”
As Sean and his new friends disappeared, Mrs. Lindsay walked onto the bridge. Jordan had activated a vidlink to the main holodeck.
“So, Jordan, how are you doing?” Mrs. Lindsay asked.
“I’m perfectly fine.” Jordan stared at the screen. Lucy Camden and Heather Allgood were now in bathing suits talking to Sean. Andy Blackerby was showing the new arrivals around the holodeck.
“Why do I have a feeling you aren’t?”
Jordan sighed. “Well, I feel, sort of—“ Suddenly, the red alert klaxons went off. Jordan bolted to the command chair. “Computer, report!”
The LCARS computer responded quickly. “Cometary fragments approaching Earth. Identified as SL-47 comet.”
“Shoemaker-Levy 47!? That comet is not supposed to get here for five weeks!” Sean Sporman said through the vidlink. “Jordan, You will have to activate the manual flight control and destroy them with the phasers. I don’t have time to get up there!”
“Computer, red alert! Activate manual flight control! Ready phasers!”
“Mrs. Lindsay,” Sean began. “Handle the phasers from the tactical console.” She walked to it and stood ready as a joystickesque device rose from the floor near Jordan. He grabbed it. “Ahead full!”

“This is Brenda Ladun of ABC 33/40, Shoemaker-Levy 47, now broken into eleven fragments, are mysteriously heading toward Earth much quicker than expected. Several observatories have also detected a UFO very near the fragments. Here is a live video from the tip of the Space Shuttle flight currently in orbit…”

The Hypothetical was now behind the comet fragments. Suddenly, one phaser beam lanced out and disintegrated one of the fragments.
“Fragment four destroyed! Now, fragment seven has been destroyed!”
Jordan continued to tug at the joystick. “Use every phaser bank!” He ordered. At one time, nine phaser beams shot from the starship. The comets could no longer be seen.
“We did it!” Jordan exclaimed happily!
“Jordan saved the planet!” Mrs. Lindsay said as Sean, Lucy, Meagan, and Heather walked onto the bridge.
“Sean,” Lucy said. “An Earth Space Shuttle is hailing us on radio!”
As Sean began to speak, a massive explosion hurled everyone to the floor. EPS conduits exploded overhead.
Sean struggled to regain his footing. “Report!” Lucy Camden stood up quickly as everyone else slowly stood up.
“Starboard warp nacelle is gone. And, we are falling into Earth’s atmosphere. Impact in twenty minutes.”
“Can we regain control?” Sean asked urgently.
“Negative! We have a massive hull breach and we are leaking plasma!” Meagan responded.
“The impulse engines are destroyed also!” added Heather.
“Ok. Five of us, including me, to the shuttle. Jordan, you beam down with the rest.”
“Why?” Meagan asked.
“Because I’m taking the Hawking back through time to stop this from occurring. If this starship crashes, we could permanently contaminate the timeline. Let’s move!”

The Federation shuttle Hawking cleared the docking bay of the Hypothetical. Sean looked to his left and saw the extent of the damage. The starboard nacelle had been blown off, it drifted about three hundred kilometers away from the starship. A massive, blackened, ragged hole now existed where the nacelle had been.
“Computer, activate temporal inverter. Timeframe: 30 earth minutes ago."
“Inverter engaged.”
“Sean, if we go back to the past,” Brooke Stephens asked. “We’ll we be there as well as when we were there in that time?”
“Well, of course.” Sean smiled as they began to pass through the artificial anomaly.

Sean Sporman was smiling in the ready room of the Hypothetical.
“So, Heather, Sean saved the day again. I understand why we all like him.” As Lucy Camden finished, Sean was blushing. He was monitoring the conversation via the vidlink.
“He can’t have three girl friends!” Meagan said, narrowing her eyes at the other two girls.
“Oh, yeah! Well you are just a P’tak!” Heather exclaimed.
“We should calm down.” Lucy suggested.

The shuttle Hawking emerged from the blue anomaly and slowly approached the Hypothetical. “Brooke, if you will?”
Brooke Stephens smiled from the aft console. “You have a visual link to the bridge.” Sean saw a massive fight between Meagan Hall, Lucy Camden, and Heather Allgood.
“My word.”
The others crowded around the screen. “We never fought! Lucy said to calm down and we did. We are fighting over you.” Sean felt his stomach tighten as he blushed and smiled broadly.
Sean’s eyes widened as his Captain’s chair. “Looks like we’re going to have to get their attention. Jessica, ready the phasers!”
Jessica Ward, who had been beamed on board, pressed a sequence of buttons. “Phasers ready.”
“Fire!” The shuttle fired its first beam as it flew under the Hypothetical. Then its aft emitter fired two more beams that hit its starboard shields.
“Good shooting, Jessica. We should be getting a hail about—“
“Sean!” Lucy Camden reported. “You are being hailed by you…” The viewscreen changed to show Sean Sporman in his ready room.
“Federation shuttle…” The other Sean’s voice trailed off. “Sean?”
“Yes, it is me.” The Sean in the shuttle responded. “We have traveled back in time because someone has sabotaged the ship, sending it plummeting into the atmosphere. We have to stop them.”
“Understood.”
“Oh, and Sean!”
“Yes, Sean?”
“Watch out for the catfight!” Both Seans smiled as the viewscreen turned off.
“They have lowered their shields.” stated Brooke Stephens.
“Let’s beam over there.”

The saboteur walked quietly through the bright and sterile corridors of the Hypothetical. She carried a high-yield explosive device.
“Erin?” Allen Johnston said in surprise. Suddenly, Erin pulled out her phaser and fired. Allen fell down, stunned. She carefully walked over the limp body and continued down the corridor to find Sean and some of his friends waiting for her.
“You couldn’t have known!” Erin exclaimed.
“You already succeeded.” Off of Erin’s look of confusion, Sean continued. “I’m from the future, thirty minutes into the future. There you destroyed one-fourth of the ship and caused us to begin to fall down to Earth. I, with my friends here, came back in time to stop you. You could have permanently damaged the timeline.”
“I don’t really understand.” Erin said.
“Heather?” Sean said, and Heather picked up where Sean had left off.
“You see, Ms…well I don’t know your last name. Well, anyway, this is proof that Star Trek is real. Starfleet and the Federation will come true. If you crash the Hypothetical, you will cause us to develop prematurely. Then, we might be investigated by the Relativity.
“What?” Erin was still confused. Sean, deciding to take advantage of this, fired his phaser at Erin. But, she jumped to the side. “Fool!” She fired and stunned Sarah Lowe as she ran down the corridor.
“Come on! We have to follow her!” The four ran down the corridor, chasing after the culprit. But, Sean bumped into, Sean.
“Are you from the bridge?” Lucy asked.
“No. I’m from the future.” The other Sean responded.
“Now, wait!” Meagan Hall exclaimed. “I thought we were from the future!”
“Well, you might be. But, we are too!” The other Meagan exclaimed.
“We don’t have time for this! We have to stop Erin!” The two groups began to run after Erin. Suddenly, June appeared.
“Now, wait just a second!” Sean exclaimed. “You are in Hueytown Juvenile!” Sean quickly stunned her with his phaser. Walking a few more steps, they found Erin, stunned on the floor.
Sean looked over to see yet another Sean…

“Starship Log, Terrestrial Date, supplementary entry number two. We have successfully saved the Hypothetical from Erin, who is now in Hueytown Juvenile. All of the temporal duplicates have returned to their proper timeline and most of the staff has returned to their homes…”

“Construction can begin on the school tomorrow. We have constructed a temporary control building, but none of you have to come. It will be tomorrow at eight o’clock in the morning. Blackerby out.” Sean smiled as the automated transmission ended.
“Incoming transmission from Heather Allgood.”
“Put it on the BunkViewer.” Sean smiled as Heather’s face appeared on the screen. “Hello, Heather. This is an unexpected surprise.”
“I thought I should talk to you. Are you going to be there tomorrow?” Heather smiled.
“Yup! You bet! I also designed that control building! It’s like a mini-micro-Starbase! But, It might be until ten when I get there.”
“I see…sleeping late?”
“No! I wake up at five thirty in the morning. I just might have to go up to the Hypothetical and run some holosims.”
“You know, before the project really began, I told Jordan that I wouldn’t go out with you, and now…I am. You aren’t like those other boys. You are nice, considerate, non-perverted and actually care about the feelings of your girlfriend.”
Sean smiled and blushed. “Thank you.”
“You should be interested to know, I’ve started to watch Star Trek and Pokemon.”
“Cool!” Sean exclaimed. “Did you know that Liz McGowen said that she didn’t understand Pokemon?”
“I don’t see why!” Heather replied with a joyous smile. “Jigglypuff rules!”
“I know! She is the best Pokemon!”
“Sean, go to sleep!” His father said.
“Well, Heather, I have to go to sleep now. I look forward to seeing you in the morning.”
“I as well. Allgood out.” As the viewscreen reverted to the Federation insignia, Sean laid back on his bed and smiled, beginning to daydream…
