1950s: Leave It To Beaver
1960s: The Andy Griffith Show
1970s: I have not watched any of those shows so I will leave this field blank.

Current sitcom: Having not ever watched any of them I will leave this field blank.
Funniest male character: Balki Bartokemus (sp?)* (edges out Greg Brady and Wayne Arnold!)

* - Do write-in votes count? I saw Rule #2 about shows not nominated, but you did not mention *characters* not nominated. Is this a loophole?

You cannot write in votes, you can only chose from the nominations. If you'd like you can vote again, but with the 4 nominations only in that category. Thanks.

Excuse me Greta, but this is a week-long thing, and I do not want to to tell me who the winners of this are. Either vote, or do nothing.

This is a good idea, Here are my votes.

50s-I love Lucy
60s-the Lucy show
70s-the Jeffersons
80s-the Golden Girls
90s-Jesse
current-Friends
funniest male character-Jack Tripper
funniest female -Edith Bunker/Lucy Ricardo(tie)

I think you should have done supporting characters as well, any maybe single out certain years, just to make it different, I also have to say the choices for the 90s wasnt that good. you should have picked more popular shows, like the Nanny and Home Improvement or Wings. two cancelled shows it the same catogorie?, but otherwise its cool. OH yeah, you could do favorite spin-off.

------------------
Designing Women
JULIA~"...And that, Marjorie --- just so you will know --- and your children will someday know --- is the night the lights went out in Georgia!

All in the Family
EDITH to ARCHIE~"Im not sure who married the meathead, Gloria or me."

the Golden Girls
SOPHIA~"Silly Rabbi, Trix are for kids."
