Author Author!

Tonight AMC showed "Author Author," a really funny movie starring Al Pacino as a New York playwright dealing with a house full of stepkids.
It is one of my favorite movies, and I thought this would be a great idea for a one hour comedy/drama series.
I jotted down some ideas, and began writing the outline for the pilot episode.
Does anyone else think this movie would make a great series?
