Dominate or Submissive?

Do you consider yourself a dominate person or a submissive person? and why?

Good question.
I like to think I'm pretty dominant. I certainly am in an arguement or debate. It's pretty well known that, if I have something to add to a discussion, I'm gonna make myself heard whether other people wanna hear it or not.
On the whole though, I'd have to say that I'm more submissive. For example, if it looks like a verbal argument is gonna turn nasty and punches are gonna be thrown then I'll take a step back. I try to avoid any serious trouble. I don't let myself get pushed around though.
I don't know actually. I guess I can be either depending on the situation. This is definately a good question cos it's got me stumped! :lol:

Im not sure what submissive means.. but I think Im that because I am not a dominating person.

dominant means you are a more, take contol person, more leading and submissive means you are more whatever, Im down for anything attitude. I happen to be both depending on the situation. If I believe I deserve something Im VERY dominant, and if I don't like something and want it changed, I usually try and convince people that it's not right, but I don't ALWAYS take control of things.

Depends on the situation. In an argument concerning something I know a lot about of am rather passionate about I am very dominate, but say I'm in a situation where I don't know what's going on or I don't know anyone, I'm rather submissive.

I use to be submissive, but I've gotten a

There 's more to dominate and submissive than just how you handle yourself an argument or discussion. In fact to be boisterous in an argument would be better labled as aggressive than dominate. An example of dominate might be leadership qualities, one who makes desicions, manages to get people to follow his or her lead by means of seemingly clear logic or confident demeanor. A submissive person might go with the flow with little or no protest. Although, I wouldn't call a person submissive if they just choose not to argue at every opportunity. Some people are good at making their point without making a lot of noise. But I guess the black and white definiton of dominate and submissive is overbearing blowhard, or meek wallflower. Most of us fall somewhere inbetween... I think... Oh, I'm not sure.
