Does anyone know anything about a tv show called 'The Mommies'? It aired from September 1993- April 1995. I am trying to find something information on it and I can't find any. If some one could please tell me if they know about the show or remember anything about it, please tell me ASAP! thanx a bunch!

it was a great show, i loved it. it starred, Caryl and Marylin who appear in commericals for some dish detergenant it cna't remember if it is for dawn or something else. they also had an ABC talk show called CARYL AND MARYLIN: REAL FRIENDS, that was a total flop in like 1996 or 1997. the show started off with just the two as married mothers, but the ratings were low so in the second season things were spiced up when one of them, the brunette had an affiar. the ratings still sucked and it was canceled. i loved that show and miss it.

The Mommies aired on NBC from 1993-1995.
It starred standup comedians Marilyn Kentz and Caryl Kristensen as two cheerful suburban moms who liked to crack girl jokes about pregnancies, their kids, and their husbands. The show never had very good ratings but NBC continued to tinker with it adding bits of spice as time went along. The role of Paul (Carols husband) was recast with an actor with more of an edge. Marilyn and her husband Jack ended up getting divorced. Shortly after the show got cancelled.

Julia Duffy and Jere Burns joined during the second and last year. Julia played Barb, the "Perfect Mommy", and Jere was a Mr. Mom-type.
