ABC Family adds "3rd Rock"

The deal with FOX Family Channel switching to ABC Family Channel had no affect on the 2004 addition of 3rd Rock From the Sun. Believe this or not, but before NBC premiered 3rd Rock in 1996, ABC was originally going to air the show under the name "Life As We Know It." But NBC bought the show before ABC premiered it and changed the name to "3rd Rock From the Sun." So when ABC Family adds the show to their lineup, it won't be ironic. According to the deal, the show will exclusively air on ABC Family, meaning that it may not show in syndication after 2004. The original deal was to allow all FOX stations to continue broadcasting the show in syndication, I do not think that deal was interupted by Fox Family's switch.

Is it true that Third Rock switched from NBC to FOX?

I think that was probably for the syndication rights.

Unfortunately, I don't see Who's the Boss still on ABC Family in 2004. It's got the "graveyard shift" right now airing at 12:30am.
