ben gould on the new class

is it true ben gould was on saved by the beel the new class? in case you dont know who ben gould is he is in a band named average jo (with shane west from once and again and a walk to remember)

If you haven't found out already, he played Nicky Farina for the last four seasons of the show (really three seasons; the last one was shown over two years) from 1996-2000. And I checked, it's the same Ben Gould.

Well, I had my doubts too because the pictures I saw (which weren't very good) didn't look like him, but in the FAQ in the Average Jo Website (averagejo.net), they confirm that it's the same guy.

Actually there were new episodes for the 1999-2000 season. So he did play on the show for 4 seasons.

Yes, that's right. What I mean is that all the episodes for the last two "seasons," '98 and '99, were apparently shot at the same time. Then they were split into two 13-episode seasons, one shown in '98 and one shown in '99, instead of all 26 being shown in one season. That's a little trick (one I dont like) that Peter Engel Productions has done with some of their other shows, including Hang Time, One World, Just Deal and All About Us. So he and the cast members weren't really a year older during the last season.

ok well now ben's band is called "Jonny Was" due to some leagle problems they couldnt perform under the name "Average Jo"
