On The Loose Again By Courtney and Denise
It was the middle of the winter and Jo and Blair had just come home from a long day at Langley College. It was their freshman year, and midterms were coming up soon. They had just entered the shop when they heard Mrs. Garrett calling their names.
Mrs. Garrett: Jo, Blair, could you girls come into the kitchen and help me take the Jelly Rolls out of the oven.
Jo: ok we’re coming.
(They enter the kitchen)
Mrs. Garrett: thanks, could you two get the 2 sheets on the bottom rack?
Blair: sure.
Jo: no problem.
(They take the sheets out of the oven and let the Jelly Rolls cool them place the Jelly Rolls on a different sheet to put in the display case out front.)
Blair: where is the newspaper?
Jo: I don’t know. Hey Mrs. G do you know where the newspaper is?
Mrs. Garrett: I don’t know I went to see if it was out side and I didn’t see it.
(The screen shows the Newspaper out side buried in the snow and only the headline is showing and it says, “The killer Jason Patrick is on the loose again.” The rest of paper was covered in snow.)
Jo: let me check outside. Ah here it is it was partly buried in the snow.
Blair: all I want out of it is the fashion page.
Mrs. Garrett: well I want the market page and the food section.
Jo: and Natalie will want the comics.
Blair: and Tootie will want the Show Biz section.
Jo: ok I guess I will take the rest. I will be upstairs if any of you guys need me.
Mrs. Garrett and Blair: ok
(Jo goes upstairs)
(Upstairs)
Jo: (looks at the headline on the paper and gasps) (to her self) OMG he’s out again. I can’t believe he got out. (Reads further) he is out on parole and is said to be seeking revenge form anyone who helped put him in prison. (When Jo sees this she feels a large lump in her throat form since she knew that he would come after her first.)
(Blair comes upstairs and knocks on the door)
Blair: Can I come in?
Jo: (swallows the lump in her throat) yea sure.
(Blair enters)
Blair: have you seen my new scarf that I bought yesterday at the mall in the city?
Jo: no what does it look like?
Blair: it is blue and Gold.
Jo: have you looked where you put thing when you are out of room in the closet.
Blair: no I haven’t checked under your bed. (She looks under Jo’s bed) here they are. Thanks Jo.
Jo: no problem.
Blair: well it’s time to go help in the shop.
Jo: it’s 3:00 already?
Blair: yea, time fly’s fast doesn’t it.
Jo: yea it does, lets go.
(They head downstairs.)

Blair- Hi all, I want you to meet this guy. His name is Peter and we were both shopping in the same place, to be in the same store as Blair Warner shows me he has taste..that's a plus....he also thinks im the most beautiful girl he's seen!...another plus

Peter- thats enough Blair, how about i introduce myself...Hi im Peter..and u are?

Peter-[outside store, gets out a notebook and with Jo's name on it he crosses her name out] Got her..all i gutta do is sweet talk Blair a little longer and I've got Jo, she'll wish she never saw what she saw!!!

Tootie- so what ya know about this peter guy blair?

Blair- All i know is that he just came here, he told me theres one reason why he's here. I didn't ask why.

[Jo walks in with books]

Jo- hey guys, i heard someone at the door, who was it?

Blair- My new "friend" Peter!

Jo- dont know him..umm wait.....uhhh guys i gutta go
[Jo's leaves the store in panic]

Nat- what was that all about, maybe that was an old boyfriend of hers?

Blair- couldn't be....he has too good of taste for her! [Blair flips hair]

(Jo is sitting alone in the park thinking)
Jo: (to herself) it can’t be… she can’t be going out with him it must be another Jason. But what if it’s not? Blair doesn’t even know what happened since she only reads the fashion page.
(Jo starts to jog home because she wanted to think about this whole situation and the bus is too noisy to think on)
(Jo gets back to the shop and Mrs. Garrett is the only one out in the front of the shop the rest are in the kitchen where we can’t see them)
Jo: hey Mrs. Garrett where is every one?
Mrs. Garrett: they are in the kitchen. Could you get that can of olives that is sitting over there on that table?
Jo: sure (does what she is asked)
Mrs. Garrett: so what did you do while you were out?
Jo: I went to the park to think.
Mrs. Garrett: (thinking some thing is wrong and has that voice she has when she suspects something is wrong Jo.)
Jo: but don’t think any thing is wrong cause nothing is wrong I just wanted time to my self and u know how hard that is to do around here.
Mrs. Garrett: yea I know what you mean.
Jo: I’m going to go into the kitchen now; do you need any thing else?
Mrs. Garrett: go ahead and go in to the kitchen.
(Jo enters the Kitchen)
Blair: hey Jo nice to have you back.
Jo: thanks Blair, Hey Blair what is Jason’s last name?
Blair: His last name is Patrick. Why do ask?
Jo: just wondering I knew a Jason when I was younger but for some reason I can’t remember his name. But Patrick does ring a bell.
Blair: by any chance did you date this Jason you know?
Jo: heck no we were just friends.
Blair: oh ok.
Jo: (to herself) she is dating him, crud now I have a major problem I he finds out that I know Blair I am dead meat for sure.
Tootie: hey Jo why did you run out of here so fast this morning?
Jo: (trying to lie) oh I was late for a meeting at the board of regents.
Nat: oh ok. Did you get in trouble for being late?
Jo: no they didn’t mind since it was my first time to be late.
Tootie: so it was kind of like a warning.
Jo: yes it was a warning. (Annoyed) ok before I go upstairs do you guys have any more questions?
Nat: (seeing that she is annoyed) no we don’t Jo.
Tootie: but…
Nat: (quietly so Jo wouldn’t hear her) she is getting annoyed can’t you tell?
Tootie: I see it now (says to Nat in the same voice that Nat was talking in)
(Jo goes upstairs)

Tootie: (listening closely for gossip)
Blair: I think that Jo is jealous of me for taking Jason away from her. She probably thought that he was coming back for her instead he went out with me.
Nat: ah that would be a good reason to storm out on us.
Tootie: Yea I agree.
Blair: She said something about her knowing something about Jason I didn’t know but then I interrupted her.
Tootie: why did you do that?
Blair: because the only reason she is telling me this nonsense is so she can have Jason. But she can’t have him!
Nat: how do you know that it couldn’t of been important?
Blair: How could it be, Jason is the perfect man.
(Mrs. Garrett hears the whole conversation from the kitchen and decides to take the back stairs up to the girls’ room to talk to Jo about what she has heard.)
(Upstairs)
Mrs. Garrett: (knocks on the door) hey Jo can I come in?
Jo: yea sure Mrs. G.
(Mrs. Garrett enters)
Mrs. Garrett: Jo I overheard…
Jo: overheard? Are you sure you’re not Tootie in a disguise?
Mrs. Garrett: (laughs) no I’m not Tootie in a disguise. Back to what I was saying. I overheard the girls talking about Jason and I heard Blair saying something about you being jealous of her since you knew him before she did and you thought that he was back for you. Is what I heard true?
Jo: no, none of it is true.
Mrs. Garrett: then what is the truth?
Jo: (Very serious and holding a bible) Do you promise not to tell any of the girls or any one for that matter not even in extreme circumstances?
Mrs. Garrett: (realizing how serious she was. Places her hand and promises not to tell it to any one.)
Jo: Ok. When I was about 15 Jason was in a Gang called The Young Diablo’s which were the roughest gang in the Bronx. And I was not in school at the time and when I was on my over to my friend Jessie’s house I had to go through an ally to get there. On my through the ally I spotted Jason. He’ seemed to be high on something because he looked somewhat like a zombie would, all pale and sagging eyes. Then I saw what he was doing and I froze in my tracks. He holding a woman against a wall and stabbing a knife into her heart repeating his actions over and over again, I swear that when he turned around he saw me I began to run I ran all the way to my Jessie’s apartment. I must of rang the door bell at least 12 times before She answered when I got in I shut the door and locked all the locks. Then I told her a bout what I saw. She told me to tell the cops. I agreed with her we told her mom who had just gotten home and she took us to the police station and I told the cops. They asked me all I knew and then they said that they would catch him. The next day they caught him and found the body. They told me that I had to be a witness in court and that the trial would be the day after that day. I went to the trial and testified. When the jury decided that he was guilty and the Judge said Case adjourned He yelled I am Going to Kill you Polniaczek. Now that he is out on Parole he can follow threw with his plans. (By the time Jo was threw speaking she was shaking while Mrs. Garrett tried to comfort her) Mrs. Garrett I trust you not to tell any one.
Mrs. Garrett: ok.

Jason: we had a score to settle.
Blair: If she doesn’t make it and I’m sure she will I will kill you unless she wants to kill you her self.
Jason: (sarcastically) oh I’m so scared.
Nat: (Jumps on him from behind and then Blair steels the gun from him and throws it into the other room then jumps on him from the front)
Mrs. Garrett: (trying to stop Jo’s bleeding.)
(Meanwhile in the other room)
Tootie: yes we would like the police to come immediately!
Police officer on the other line: ok we will be there in 3 minutes.
Tootie: and bring an ambulance one of our friends was shot and needs immediate medical attention she is loosing a lot of blood.
Police officer on the other line: All right we will be over in 3 min bye.
Tootie: bye.
(Tootie goes into the other room and tells Mrs. G that she called the Police, then goes over to James and also jumps on him)
Jo: (in a weak whisper) Mrs. G?
Mrs. Garrett: yes it’s me Jo; stay awake until the cops get here.
Jo: ok, will try. (She goes unconscious)
Mrs. Garrett: dang it she is unconscious.
Jason: (trying to get out of the girls death grips) Good.
Mrs. Garrett: you have a very sick mind.
Jason: I do not!
Blair: Yes you do
(The cops arrive at the door and grab Jason by the arms and then hand cuff him,)
Police Woman: Mr. Jason Patrick, You are under arrest for the attempt of murder of Jo Polniaczek. You have the right to remain silent, any thing you say can and will be used against you in a court of law you have the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one, one will be provided for you.
(Jason is escorted to a police car as the medics come and load Jo onto a stretcher and take her to the ambulance. Mrs. Garrett was the only one allowed to ride with Jo. Blair, Natalie, and Tootie took Blair’s car to the hospital)

Jo- {coughing} i never knew doing the right thing would kill me?

suddenly the she starts to breath hard and coughing then the beeping goes louder and louder...doctors rush in and push the girls out the way!

Blair: (in a sad voice) Hello Mrs. Polniaczek it’s Blair Warner.
Mrs. Polniaczek: Blair u sound so sad, what is going on?
Blair: well we are at the hospital and Jo has been shot.
Mrs. Polniaczek: OMG is she ok?
Blair: well we’re not sure come up here to St. Mary’s hospital and you will find more out. Bring Charlie too.
Mrs. Polniaczek: ok, I will be right there.
Blair: bye.
Mrs. Polniaczek: bye.
(Back in the waiting room)
Blair: I’m back.
Mrs. Garrett: did you get a hold of Jo’s parents?
Blair: yes
Mrs. Garrett: did you tell her what is wrong with Jo?
Blair: I told them that they would find out the details when she got here I told her as much as I could with out making her too worried to drive.
Mrs. Garrett: Good job Blair, I’m proud of you for being able to make that hard call by your self. As a matter of fact I am proud of all of you for being able to handle the situation we had at the house.
Nat, Tootie, and Blair: thank you.
(3 hours pass and Mrs. Polniaczek walks into the waiting room.)
Mrs. Garrett: Rose thank god you’re here.
Rose: What is wrong with Jo?
Mrs. Garrett: well she was shot in the chest by Blair’s boyfriend…
Blair: ex-boyfriend
Mrs. Garrett: ok ex-boyfriend Jason Patrick. She Jumped in front of Blair so the bullet would hit her instead of Blair. The bullet hit her in the heart and the doctors give her a 15% chance of making it
Rose: OMG!!!
Mrs. Garrett: Jo is strong she will make it.
Rose: I hope so.

Mrs. Garrett: Natalie go get some cold washrags and put them on her forehead.
(Natalie does so)
Blair: I should have stayed up here with her. The second I left the room I knew something bad would happen.

(Paramedics arrive)
Paramedic #1: we will take it from here ma’am. (They began to take her pulse and check everything vital.)
Paramedic #2: we are going to take her down to the ambulance and take her to St. Mary’s. No one can ride since she is so critical.
Blair: ok
(The paramedics take her to the ambulance while everyone else piles into Blair’s car and follows the ambulance.)

(30 minutes later Jo and Blair are sitting on the couch talking to Nat and Tootie who are each sitting in an armchair.)
Blair: hey Jo how come Jason said remember me when he came in the door? And I know it was not from when I introduced him to everyone or at least I thought it was everyone but you were not there so that rules out that possibility.
Jo: well I might as well tell you about this now. When I was about 15 Jason was in a Gang called The Young Diablo’s which were the roughest gang in the Bronx. And I was not in school at the time and when I was on my over to my friend Jessie’s house I had to go through an ally to get there. On my through the ally I spotted Jason. He’ seemed to be high on something because he looked somewhat like a zombie would, all pale and sagging eyes. Then I saw what he was doing and I froze in my tracks. He holding a woman against a wall and stabbing a knife into her heart repeating his actions over and over again, I swear that when he turned around he saw me I began to run I ran all the way to my Jessie’s apartment. I must of rang the door bell at least 12 times before She answered when I got in I shut the door and locked all the locks. Then I told her a bout what I saw. She told me to tell the cops. I agreed with her we told her mom who had just gotten home and she took us to the police station and I told the cops. They asked me all I knew and then they said that they would catch him. The next day they caught him and found the body. They told me that I had to be a witness in court and that the trial would be the day after that day. I went to the trial and testified. When the jury decided that he was guilty and the Judge said Case adjourned He yelled I am Going to Kill you Polniaczek. I trust you guys not to tell any one. (She looks at Tootie and Natalie.)
Tootie: why are you looking at Nat and I?
Blair: because you two have the biggest mouths in New York.
Nat: I won’t tell anyone.
Tootie: me either.
Blair: Does Mrs. G know?
Jo: yea I told her before I was shot.
Blair: ok, that clears up almost every thing. But there is still the matter of why you took the bullet for me.
Jo: well when he took the gun out he would hurt you guys instead of literally killing me, but he knew that if you guys got hurt would kill me more than a bullet would. So I jumped in front of the bullet so it wouldn’t hit you Blair.
Blair: (has a few tears running down her face)I think I can speak for all of us right now. We didn’t know we mean so much to you.
Jo: yea you do mean a lot a lot to me. I thought you guys knew that.
Blair: we did but we didn’t think it was so much you would put your self in the hospital for us.
Jo: well I didn’t plan to put my self in the hospital, but yea you do mean that much.

Jo: yea I should I’m going to go call him right now! (Dials Mark’s number on the telephone.) Hi Mark?

Jo: I want to explain about last night.

Jo: well the reason I said what I said was because I have to testify at a trial because I saved my best friend from getting shot by jumping in front of her and taking a bullet for her. The man that was shooting at her was a man I saw kill another man many years back and I testified against him then and the reason he shot at her instead of at me was he wanted to kill me and he knew that by killing my friends would kill me more than actually killing me. Do you understand that is why I said what I said earlier, but if you still want to go out with me I will be willing to try.
Mark: heck yea I am still willing to go out with you. And I’m sorry that all that had to happen to you.
Jo: thank you. I have two tickets to a bike race this afternoon and I was wondering if you would like to go to it with me?

Jason: hold on there we are going to use guns or knife’s so no one will know we killed them.
Harrison: You are a genius.

(At the Hilton Hotel)
Jo: I can’t pay for a place like this.
Blair: you don’t have to I have a account at all the Hiltons in the world and when I stay at a Hilton everyone I bring with me can stay for free.
Jo: ok I’ll buy that.
Mrs. Garrett: well lets go check in.
Everyone else: ok
(They go to check in. Jo and Blair are sharing a suite. Nat and Tootie are sharing another suite and Mrs. Garrett has her own suite.) Note: each suite is one floor of the hotel.

Mrs. G: (to her self) I wonder what the girls are thinking of their suites. I wonder who it was that made that call the voice was so familiar, maybe it was Jason? It had to have been him he is the only one who would threaten us. Well I better finish unpacking.
(Knock)
Mrs. Garrett: who is it?
Jo: it’s Blair and me, can we come in?
Mrs. G: sure let me unlock the door for you.
(Mrs. G unlocks the door and lets them in)
Jo: (thinking to herself) now I wonder why she had the door locked in the middle of the day. I know you would do that at a crummy hotel like a motel 6 but at a ritzy place like this where if your clothes don’t cost at least 100 dollars you are low class scum. I should know they looked at me like I was a bum! (Not thinking to her self) Mrs. Garrett we have to talk to you about an important matter. (she takes a seat.)
Blair: (takes a seat near Jo) yea, we wanted to know what that phone conversation was about and who was calling.
Mrs. G: well I guess I should tell you that a man called I’m not sure who it was he didn’t say who it was but I have reason to believe it was Jason.
Jo: what did he say?
Mrs. G: he said that we better not testify or there will be trouble and that we shouldn’t stay in our house until our case is dropped by the court.
Blair: oh my word.
Jo: oh crap, what time is it.
Blair: 10am why?
Jo: thank the lord. I have a date with Mark at 2:30 and he said he will pick me up at the house I better call him and tell him to pick me up, I better call him and tell him to pick me up here I am going to tell him why I am here also. Just to be sure he is not tracking us by phone I am going to go call him from a pay phone.
Mrs. G: ok good idea.
(Jo goes to call Mark)
(At payphone)
Jo: (dials mark’s number) Mark?
Mark: Jo, where are you I have been trying to call you.
Jo: Mark I am at the Hilton.
Mark: (interrupts) why are you at the Hilton.
Jo: (explains everything going on)
Mark: oh. Are you ok?
Jo: yea, I am.
Mark: I am going to rent a room at the Hilton just to make sure you are safe.
Jo: you don’t have to do that.
Mark: I know I don’t have to I want to.
Jo: no, I mean you don’t have to rent a room. Blair has a special account at every Hilton on earth and every person she brings with her gets to stay for free in a suite. I’m sure she would grant you permission to get a free suite. When you come to pick me up we will just stay here and I will help you unpack.
Mark: if you say so.
Jo: good see you at 2:30 in the lobby. Bye Love you.

(They hang up and Jo goes up to Mrs. Garrett’s room.)
Blair: hey Jo.
Mrs. Garrett: welcome back.
Jo: Blair, do you think that you could get Mark a suite.
Blair: sure, why.

Blair: so when do we meet him for check in?

Blair: isn’t that when your date is?
Jo: yea he is going to check in and then we are going to go eat at the restaurant downstairs.

Jo: and by the way Mrs. G, you are going to have to tell Nat and Tootie about all of this.
Mrs. G: but this will just freak them out.
Jo: well it’s better that then having them make one phone call and we get killed. It might not be to that extreme.
Mrs. G: yea you’re right.
Blair: well we have to finish getting settled.
(Knock on Tootie and Nat’s door)
Nat: who is it?
Mrs. G: it’s me.
Tootie: come in
Mrs. Garrett: you guys need to know something. I received a phone call this morning and I have reason to believe it was Jason. He said that if we testify something horrible will happen and that we should stay out of our house until the case is dismissed. I called Eastland and told them that you girls were going on vacation and would get your homework when you got back. Also you girls can’t talk on the phone because Jason might be tracking us by it. Jo and Blair already know.
Nat: wow!
Tootie: ok we wont talk on the phone.
Mrs. G: I’m glad that’s taken care of.
(In Jo and Blair’s room)
Jo: I am going to call Mr. Klein and tell him about all of this.
Blair: ok see you in a little bit.
(At the pay phone.)

Jo: yea it is. We are staying at the Hilton right now because of a call that is assumed to of come from Jason.
Mr. K: whoa slow down, now start over and tell me every detail.
Jo: (explains what happened.)
Mr. K: ok, I want you and Blair to meet me in the restaurant in the Hilton tonight at 8.
Jo: ok but why just Blair and I?
Mr. K: incase he is watching us we don’t want to create too big of a crowd.

Mr. K: where are you calling from, I certainly hope it is not your room.
Jo: no it is not our room. I figured that they could be tracking us by phone so I am calling you and everyone else that I have to call from a pay phone right out side of the Hilton.
Mr. K: ok, good.
(Meanwhile at the warehouse)
Harrison: they are falling into our trap.
Jason: yes, now we need to pick a time to visit them.
Harrison: time of death 6:30pm.
Jason: now you’re talking my kind of language.
(Back at the Hilton in Jo and Blair’s suite.)
Jo: he said for us to meet him at 8 in the restaurant.

Jo: well Blair it’s 2:25 I guess we should be heading down to the lobby.

(Down in the lobby Jo and Blair sit and wait for Mark.)

Jo: hey (goes over and lightly kisses him since they are in public.)

Blair: you’re suite is right bellow ours and there is a spiral staircase that leads up to ours hidden in your closet.

Jo: well I really don’t know but my first thought would be that they would kill us.

(They hear a knock coming from their closet.)
Jo: (opens the door and sees mark in only a pair of swim trunks that look incredibly sexy on him and a towel over his shoulder.) Hi, Wow you look good.
Mark: thanks I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the pool with me.
Jo: uhh sure. Let me go change. (Jo goes and changes into her suit, puts on a pair of shorts and grabs a towel.) Ready

Mrs. Garrett: but what if he has a gun?
Jo: easy we will do the same thing except when they jump on him I will steal his gun and hold it at his head until the police come.
Tootie: and what do Mrs. Garrett and I do?
Jo: you two wait in the lobby and tell the cops and Mr. Klein get here then tell them where we are.

I kno its been awhile since i posted but i have been really busy.

(Mark enters the suite)
Mark: hey what’s up?
Jo: (kisses him) not much.
Blair: we should probably stay here until the trial is over just to make sure nothing happens but now we can make phone calls out of here and go places.
Nat: does that mean that Tootie and I have to go back to school?
Jo: yes it does.
Tootie: (pouts) ok.
Nat: but we don’t know the bus stops out here.
Blair: that’s ok, either Jo or I will drive you.
Nat: we wont both fit on the back of Jo’s bike.
Jo: we wont take my bike we will take Mrs. G’s car cuz she isn’t supposed to be driving.
Mrs. G: right.
Tootie: are you two going to go back to Langley?
Jo: Don’t you remember that we got out of school 4 weeks ago?
Nat: oh yea that is not fair!
Blair: yes it is we start earlier than you. Plus we have been taking night courses so we can get out earlier in the summer.
Tootie: fine then that is fair.
Mark: yea it is.
Jo: Mark do you want to go get a pizza or something?
Mark: sure, lets go. We can take my car; I can also drive them to school.
Tootie: awe you’re so sweet. Good choice Jo!
Jo: thanks Tootie; yea your convertible will be fine.
Nat: he sure can take us to school a convertible will make us so popular.
Jo: Nat!
Nat: fine.
Blair: well you better get going if you want to beat the lunch crowd.
Jo: yea you’re right.
(At the pizza place they are seated and order a pepperoni pizza)
Jo: you never told me where you grew up.
Mark: I was born in Seattle Washington, then moved to Texas when I was 2, I stayed there until I was 8 then we moved to Brooklyn and I lived there until college when I started at Langley, I travel some for the Olympics but only every 4 years. I have to go to LA this summer for them, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me I have to leave 1 week after the trial, and everyone else can come with us. I have 5 tickets for them and I need to use them up they are for every event. So do you think you can come?
Jo: Yea I can come I don't have anything planned for this summer when we get back we can ask the others. I grew up in the Bronx and then came to Peekskill when I was 16 my mom wanted me out of the neighborhood if I didn’t leave I would probably be the head of some gang right now, but I am glad I left or I would have never met Blair, Nat, Tootie, Mrs. Garrett, and you. My mom put me at Eastland then I continued on to Langley and here I am.
Mark: I’m glad we met during Tech. (Deeply kisses her)
Jo: (kisses back then breaks the kiss) so am I.
Waiter: Here’s you pizza.
Mark: thank you.
(Waiter leaves)
Jo: did you pay upfront?
Mark: yea that is the main reason I like this place you can pay before you get your food so you don’t have to wait for the bill.
Jo: good point.
(30min later they are done eating and back at the hotel in Jo and Blair’s room where everyone else is)
Blair: how was your date?
Mark: it was great. We have a question for all of you.
Jo: How would you like to go to the summer Olympics the week after the trial?
(Everyone looks stunned)
Blair: How did you get tickets if you got them form a dealer by the docks I am not going!
Jo: Mark got them cuz he is participating in the events. And he has 5.
Nat: you are in the Olympics! What event?
Mark: I am in all of the Swimming events. The tickets are for all events and I don't need a ticket to go so I wanted all of you to come.
Mrs. Garrett: well I had nothing planned I will go!
Nat: I will have to check with my parents but I think I can go let me call them.
Jo: that reminds me I am going to call my mom and tell in case she wonders where I am going. I will use the 2nd phone line.
Blair: let me tell my mother and father that I am going and do you guys have a special jet you all go on?
Mark: no we will have to pay for plane tickets.
Blair: nonsense we can take my daddy’s company jet he won’t mind.
Mark: are you sure?
Blair: I will double check with him when I call and tell them. I will use the 3rd phone line.
Tootie: let me check with my parents I guess I will use the 4th phone line be right back.
Blair: Daddy said that we could take his private jet and they don't mind me going.
Nat: I can go.
Tootie: so can I.
Jo: well I told my mom and she was going crazy that I was going out with a Olympic she is thrilled she wants to meet you.
Mark: how about we go up tomorrow since the trial isn’t for another week we could stay for about 3 days.
Jo: sounds good to me.
Mrs. G: just be careful.
Mark: we will (puts his arm around Jo)
Mrs. G: ok.
Jo: I am going to go pack so I can be ready for tomorrow.
Blair: I will help you.
Jo: fine.
Mark: I should go pack also (the three of them go to pack or in Blair’s case help pack)
(The next day)
(Knock on Jo and Blair’s door.)
Mrs. G: it’s us.
Jo: coming (opens the door and lets them in) Hey.
Mrs. G: we just came by to say goodbye.
Jo: thanks.
(Mark walks over.)
Mark: hey. We better get going so we can get there early.
Mrs. G: where are you staying or are you staying at your mom’s apartment?
Jo: we are staying at a embassy suits in Manhattan and commuting in and out, on our bikes we know better than to take a BMW into the Bronx we are also going to Brooklyn to see his father, we will be at my mom’s from the moment we get there until 1pm Tuesday then we will be at his father’s place from the moment we arrive until we will leave there early on Thursday. So we will be gone longer than we originally planed. (Author’s note: the day is Sunday)
Mrs. G: ok. What is your parent’s number Mark, just incase we have to get a hold of you.
James: (574) 243-5694 (Author’s note: made up number) Bye.
Jo: bye
Everyone else: Bye.
(They leave)
(At Jo’s mom’s apartment.)
(Knock on the door)
Rose: coming. (Un-do’s all 6 locks) I can’t get it open.
Jo: let me try it from out here. (Opens it). Remind me to fix that while I’m here.
Rose: ok.
Jo: ma this is Mark Conway.
Rose: nice to meat you. Jo, where are you two staying we are staying at the embassy suites in the city.
Rose: ok. So what has been going on have you had the trial yet?
Mark: Well we had a little encounter.
Rose: what do you mean?
Jo: well (tells her mom the story)
Rose: wow a lot has happened to you guys. And I though Peekskill was safer than her.
Jo: hehe, it is that happens everyday here and just once every 4 years there.
Rose: So Mark, What sport are you participating in?
Mark: Well ma’am I am participating in all of the swimming events.
Rose: please call me Rose, wow how does it feel to be Olympic material?
Mark: it feels great; it is a lot of fun that is why I swim.
Jo: Let me work on the door. (Goes into her room and grabs her old toolbox. Then walks over to the door.)
Jo: (looks at the door and immediately sees the problem.) the only thing wrong is it’s missing a nut.
Rose: that's it?
Jo: yea. Fixed it. Hey mom can you make some pizza?
Rose: only if you two go and get the ingredients
Jo: sure we will be back in 45 minutes.
Rose: k
(Jo and Mark get on their bikes and Mark follows Jo to Big K-Mart.)
(At Big K-Mart.)
Jo: we need a cart.
Mark: k (gets a cart)
Jo: lets go get the ingredients we can find them all on the far side of the store. (They go get the ingredients for the pizza and some sweets, along with some Pepsi, some chips, and some dip, and a case of beer. Then they stuff the goods in the compartments on each of their bikes and head back to Jo’s apartment)
(At the apartment)
Rose: did you get all the stuff?
Jo: yea and some extra stuff.
Rose: like what?
Mark: sweets, chips, dip, Pepsi, and a case of beer, the beer was Jo’s idea.
Jo: are we ready to get cooking?
Rose: I think so. You can start to chop the toppings and grade the cheese and I will make the sauce and the crust.
Jo: k Mark would you start to dice the tomatoes, cut the black olives, and cook the sausage. I will grade all the cheeses, cut the pepperoni, and the green onions. And I will cut the artichoke hart.
Mark: k
(1 hour later the pizzas are done.)
Jo: hey Mark would you grab me a beer.
Mark: sure (gives Jo her beer), what would you like to drink Rose?
Rose: I’ll have a Pepsi please.
Mark: ok (gives her a Pepsi and grabs a beer for himself, and they begin to eat their pizza)
Rose: so when are you two leaving?
Jo: we are leaving at 1pm Tuesday and we will be heading to Mark’s parents house in Brooklyn and we will be there until early Thursday then we will head back to Peekskill.
Rose: sounds good to me. What are you planning on doing while you’re here?
Jo: I was thinking about visiting some old friends and seeing if they named the detention hall after me. Does that sound good to you Mark?
Mark: yea sounds great.
Rose: I’m sure they named the detention hall after you; you probably have the playing hooky the most time’s award to.
Jo: I’m sure I do. When we get done eating how bout we go down to the gym.
Mark: sounds good to me.
(At the gym around 4pm.)
Mark: (is holding the punching bag.)
Jo: (punches it then back fist’s it then jump round house kicks it then tornado kicks it) (authors note: I am in Tae Kwon Do so I know all the kicks and stuff so I may use some names you have never heard of)
Mark: nice roundhouse kick.
Jo: thanks (goes to hold the bag for him)
Mark: (Palm heel strikes the bag then knife had strikes the bag then he goes in with a hook kick then a inside crescent kick, then to finish it off he comes in with a fury of fists.)
Jo: that was a great hook kick.
Mark: Thanks lets move to the bench presses. (They take turns bench pressing while the other one spots.)
Jo: Sparing?
Mark: sure lets go rent some gear.
(They go rent some gear then they put it on and start to spar and Jo kicks Mark’s a$$.)
Jo: whew what a work out. You want to visit one of my friends?
Mark: sure who?
Jo: Jessie.
Mark: k (lets go)
(They arrive at Jessie’s)
Jo: (rings Door bell)
Jessie: (answers the door) Jo?!?!?
Jo: Hey Jessie! This is Mark my boyfriend.
Jessie: nice to meet ya. Come on in.
(Jo and Mark go in)
Jessie: what have you been up to lately?
Jo: I have been busy with school and in the shop and I am always working on my bike. What about you?
Jessie: just the normal going to bars working at the bike shop and take care of my son while my husband works at the Mall as a security guard.
Jo: You have a son? Who is your husband?
Jessie: yea I have a son his name is Tom he is asleep right now and I got married to Mike you remember him?
Jo: Mike, the only person who even stands a chance against me in pool.
Jessie: ya that Mike, he has gotten better at pool you might play against him while you’re here. I will go get Tom. (Jessie goes to get Tom.)
Jo: k, maybe I will.
Jessie: (comes back with Tom)
Jo: awe he looks Just like Mike. How old is he?
Jessie: yea he does. He’s 2 months old he was born April 5th.
Mark: hey Jo weren’t you born April 4th.
Jo: yea, well that is one more card I have to send for birthdays.
Jessie: I heard about that big trial you’re in against that bas**** Jason.
Jo: yea but when the trials over we are going to the Olympics.
Mark: what she means by we is me cuz I am a percipient in all the swimming events and her and Blair, and Natalie, and Tootie, and Mrs. Garrett. Jo I forgot I still have one more ticket stashed away. Maybe Jessie would like to come. If you can that is.
Jessie: I think I can but only if I can find someone to take care of Tom while we are gone, just during the day at night Mike will be here.
Jo: What about your mom?
Jessie: she doesn’t like me being married to Mike so she will refuse.
Jo: well I think my mom might take care of him since she has those two weeks off that we are gone. Let me call and ask her, is the phone where it used to be?
Jessie: yea.
Jo: k. (Dials her mom’s number)
Rose: hello?
Jo: hey ma it’s me we found out we had one extra ticket for the Olympics and we asked Jessie to come but she needs some one to watch Tom her son while she is gone but only during the day Mike her husband can take him at night. So what do u say?
Rose: how old is he?
Jo: he is 2 months old.
Rose: yea I can since I have those two weeks off any way.
Jo: thanks mom. I’m gonna put Jessie on so you two can discuss the details.
Rose: ok.
Jo: (puts Jessie on)
(Rose and Jessie discuss the details)
Jessie: (hangs up) Well it is all settled, I just have to tell mike and I will tell him tonight when he gets home.
Jo: great I will come by and pick you up that Friday we are going to go early so we can see some of LA and we are going to stay at the Hilton next to the Olympic stadium. Don’t worry about the plane tickets we are taking Blair’s fathers private jet and the hotel is free cuz Blair has some sort of deal with all the Hiltons.
Jessie: Wow a Hilton and a private jet.
Mark: oh and the rooms at the Hilton are suites.
Jessie: AWESOME.
Jo: we better be going it’s getting late, I don’t want to be out when all the Gangs come out.
Jessie: why they are all afraid of you.
Jo: yea I know but I just don't feel like fighting right now.
Mark: yea and then I would get brought into it and I don't want to get charged with murder.
Jo: Good point.
Jessie: I see what you mean, call me later Jo.
Jo: sure. Bye

Jo: what do you mean risky?

Doctor: I’m afraid I am.
Jo: well what is her current condition?
Doctor: she is conscious but very tired, she can have 2 visitors at a time I have already talked to her about the procedure she is willing to take the chance.
Jo: ok, when can we see her?
Doctor: right now.
Jo: thank you doctor.
Doctor: your welcome.
(Doctor leaves)
Jo: Tootie why don’t you go in there right now while I call everyone else.
Tootie: ok (Tootie heads to Mrs. G’s room)
Jo: (goes to a payphone and calls Blair’s car phone)
Blair: hello?
Jo: hey Blair, we have a problem.
Blair: what?
Jo: well Mrs. Garrett is at St. Mathew’s hospital. She had a heart attack.
Blair: OMG. What did the doctor say?
Jo: He said that they are going to perform triple bypass surgery the only problem with that is that only 2/3 of the people who have the surgery die he told Mrs. G about the surgery and she is willing to take the chance.
Blair: I will be at the hospital right away, but first I have to stop by the hotel and leave Nat a note.
Jo: ok Blair see you soon. (Hangs up)
(Jo leaves the phone booth and goes into Mrs. G’s room)
Mrs. G: hey Jo
Jo: hi, so you’re going with the surgery?
Mrs. G: yes Jo I am.
Jo: that's good. Blair and Mark are on their way up here Blair is leaving Nat a note to come here.
Mrs. G: that's good. Do you guys mind if I take a little nap?
Jo: no I don't mind.
Tootie: neither do I.
Mrs. G: (goes to sleep.) (heart monitor flat lines.)

Doctor: well we had to perform the triple bypass surgery immediately and we are not sure if it worked we will have to wait over night to see.
Blair: ok when can we visit her?
Doctor: right now she is awake but very weak only one of you at a time can go in.

Rose: Jo what are you doing here?
Jo: I needed to sort things out for a few days do you mind.
Rose: of course not you’re my daughter. What do you need to talk about?
Jo: (tells her mom the whole thing about Mrs. G and everything and ends up in tears) that is why I came here.
Rose: (comforting Jo) Hunny it’s ok. Don’t worry I’m sure she will be ok.
Jo: But what if she isn’t I’d feel incomplete, I wouldn’t feel the same
Rose: Lets not focus on the what if’s let’s focus on reality.
Jo: thanks mom I feel much better now. I’m going to go for a ride be back later on tonight don’t bother waiting up for me.

(Jo heads down to the parking lot and hops on her bike and takes off.)
(2:00 am Jo walks back into her apartment and see’s her mom waiting up for her)
Jo: I thought I told you not to wait up for me.
Rose: have I ever listened to you? You never listen to me so why should I listen to you?
Jo: good point
Rose: so what else did you do besides ride?
Jo: how do you know I was doing something else?
Rose: You can’t ride around for 5 hours. You’d be extremely sore.
Jo: ur right I went and played some pool and won 1,000 dollars.
Rose: 1,000!?!?! That’s great!!!
Jo: yea 1,000, it is a nice amount I came back here to put it in a safe place now I am gonna go back and play some more I haven’t lost a game yet!
Rose: ok just be careful. I’ll see you in the morning.
Jo: ok. See you then.
Rose: (goes to her room and goes to sleep)
Jo: (leaves the house after putting the large amount of money in a safe place while still making sure she had a hundred dollars in her pocket.)
(At the Pool house)
Jo: I win again pay up!
Guy: dang ur getting even better Jo. (Gives her 200 dollars)
Jo: Who’s next?
Rich Guy: I’ll play you for 10,000 dollars if you don't have you don't have to pay me if you win.
Jo: what’s the catch?
Rich Guy: you come home with me tonight if you loose.
Jo: ok. (Knows she will win. And plays the guy)
(30 min later)
Jo: I won pay up.
Rich Guy: You have a good game (pay’s her)
Jo: So do you it was nice playing you.
(3 hours later Jo is at home sleeping on the couch since she was really tired and didn’t want to go all the way to her room.)
(Rose walks into the room and Jo wake’s up)
Rose: I’m sorry did I wake you?
Jo: yea but it’s ok I was about to wake up anyway. You’ll never guess how much I won total.
Rose: How much?
Jo: 14,000 dollars.
Rose: 14,000 dollars?
Jo: yea 14 grand.
Rose: OMG!!! How did you get all of that?
Jo: a rich guy came in and I played him for 10,000 dollars.
Rose: That’s incredible.
Jo: First I’m gonna go pay off college and I should have 3,000 left which I am going to give to you for paying bill’s and for food.
Rose: I don’t need your money.
Jo: Yes you do! You are as stubborn as I am. You need this money I am using all of it that I need. So you can use the rest. I get all the money I need from working in Mrs. G’s shop. And if I’m ever in a pinch I can always go to Blair even though I hate doing that. (Say’s to herself) I’d never go to Blair (normally) so you can have it.
Rose: Ok I’ll take the money. Maybe you should play pool more often.
Jo: I will play some more the next time I visit. Right now I am going to go back to Peekskill where people need me right now. Bye I love you.
Rose: Bye (hug’s Jo) I Love you.
Jo: bye (heads out the door and gets on her bike and ride’s to Peekskill)
(Jo arrives in Peekskill at 10:00am and heads to the hospital. When she arrived she parked her bike next to Blair’s car and headed inside the hospital with the money she won in her pocket.)
Jo: hey Blair.
Blair: your back!! (Hug’s her)
Jo: How is Mrs. G?
Blair: She is still in the ER.
Jo: It’s been 12 hours.
Blair: I know. Where did you go any ways?
Jo: I went back to my mom’s apartment and played pool all night. I won 14,000 dollars I am going to pay off college and I gave the other 3,000 to my mom for bill’s and food.
Blair: That’s great. That was real sweet what you did for your mom.
Jo: thanks. Where is Mark?
Blair: I think he went to get some coffee he should be back any minute.
(Mark enters the waiting room)
Jo: hey baby.
Mark: Your back!!! (Pick’s her up and swing’s her in a circle and end’s it in a hug) I missed you.
Jo: I missed you too. (Passionately kisses him)
Blair: I think I will go get something to eat. (Exits the room)
Mark: (end’s the kiss) where did you go? I was worried about you.
Jo: I went back to my mom’s apartment and played pool all night. I won 14,000 dollars I am going to pay off college and I gave the other 3,000 to my mom for bill’s and food. But I kept $100 for me.
Mark: That was a real sweet thing you did for your mom. Maybe you should play pool professionally?
Jo: I might just do that. Good idea.
Mark: I’ll ask around for anyone who knows how you get to the pro’s.

Jo: (kisses him deeply and passionately and they start to make out until they remember they are in a hospital and end the kiss)
Mark: that was incredible.
Jo: yea maybe we should continue it at the hotel.
Mark: only if you are sure. I don’t want you doing anything you aren’t sure of or may hurt you in the future. I can wait if you want to.
Jo: yea I’m sure I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want to marry you someday.
Mark: Speaking of marriage I have something to ask you. (Get’s down on one knee and pulls out a ring) Joanna Marie Polniaczek, Will you marry me I love you with all of my heart if you say no I won’t be mad I understand if you want to wait. (Author’s note: keep in mind this is the summer before season 7)
Jo: (speechless) Let me think about it over night ok?
Mark: ok would you wear the ring on you right hand so I know that you like it? I’m going to go get some more coffee are you thirsty?
Jo: no thanks; yes I will wear the ring on my right hand. (Puts it on)
(Mark leaves and Blair enters)
Jo: (stares at the ring on her right hand.)
Blair: What is that (referring to the ring)
Jo: James asked me to marry him and I told him I’d wear the ring on my right hand while I was thinking of it.
Blair: OMG!! Are you going to?
Jo: I want to but I’m not sure if I am ready I think I am this time. I know I wasn’t last time but this time I think I am old enough and ready for marriage.
Blair: I will support which ever you choose if you decide to marry him that’s great and if not there is always another time.
Jo: thanks Blair.
Blair: you’re welcome. That is a lovely ring, looks like 24 carrot gold. The 5 diamonds are lovely!
Jo: Yea it is a lovely ring.
Blair: I just went and talked to the nurse and they said that Mrs. G is out of surgery and in recovery. The surgery went extremely well and she should be out of here in a week. She is asking for you Jo.
Jo: I wonder why?
Blair: why don’t you go find out?
Jo: I will (goes to Mrs. G’s room)
Mrs. G: Jo, is that you?
Jo: yea it is. How do you feel?
Mrs. G: Great. What is that on your hand?
Jo: Mark asked me to marry him and I told him I’d think about it. I Love him with all my heart and I want to marry him

Jo: but I wanted to make sure that you didn’t have a reason why I shouldn’t marry him. I think I am old enough to marry him and it will take at least a year for us to get married so we will both be 22 then and I have college paid off for my next two years because I won 14,000 in pool I am about to pay 11,000 to Langley and I gave the extra 3,000 to my mom for bill’s and food so I have money covered. And we can both survive off of his paycheck since he get’s 1million a year since he is an Olympic swimmer. So what do you say?
Mrs. G: I think you should go with what ever your heart tells you I also think you are old enough to get married and your right you can survive on his paycheck. That was a kind thing you did for your mom.
Jo: Thanks Mrs. G!! I’m gonna say yes to him.
Mrs. G: congratulations!!!
Jo: I’m gonna go tell Blair then Mark.
Mrs. G: ok bye when ur done telling Blair can you send her in here?
Jo: Ok bye.
(Jo exits)

Jo: yea. We are going back to the hotel I thought we should let you know so you didn’t worry.

Mrs. G: (see’s the girl’s still standing there) alone?
Jo: oh sure let’s go Blair (they go outside the room and get out some glasses and put them to the door with their ear’s to the glasses and figure out the door is sound proof) well this sucks.

Mrs. G: Mark, I just want to know that you will treat Jo right and never hurt her before you two get married.
Mark: I won’t Ma’am I will treat her better than she deserves to be treated and love her with all of my heart.
Mrs. G: (smiles) Ok you two go have fun.
Mark: yes ma’am. Oh and feel better soon!
Mrs. G: thanks. Bye.
Mark: Bye (leaves the room)
Jo: you ready to go?
Mark: yea let’s go. Did you take your bike here?
Jo: yea. We can ride back on it.
Mark: ok hold on. Blair, can you have Nat drive my car back to the hotel? Jo and I are taking her bike.

Mark: he has just about the same frame as me but he has green eyes and blond hair.

Nat: and Paul?
Mark: he has brown hair but will often spike it or put in a colored jell and spike it. And he has Brown eyes like mine. Same frame also.
Jo: well if they are as hansom as you are I’m sure Nat, Blair, and Tootie will be pleased.
Mark: they will be. Dane and Paul may appear rough at first sight but deep down they are the sweetest guy’s u ever met. If you stay with them long enough that they trust you they will let down their tough guy exterior. Kinda like you Jo. Just don't let their first impression fool you.
Jo: that does sound like me.
Blair: ok if I can become best friends with Jo I can surely go out with them.
Nat: I should be fine I can make friends with just about anybody.
Mark: I’m sure they will both love you.

Mark: Something that doesn’t make you look so preppy just be your self with them like you are with us. Just wear some Jeans and a hoodie and u’ll be fine

(30 min later they arrive at a skate shop for the hoodies.)

Jo: we are at a skate boarding shop they have some of the best hoodies and some pretty good jeans. Along with some nice t-shirts. (goes over to the cloths) Btw we also have to get you some shoes I know you don't have any skate shoes.
Blair: I like the blue one with the word element on the front with that little picture of the tree.
Jo: first of all the name is Element and their symbol is that little tree.
Nat: how about the black one with the picture of a hawk skull with some bones around it.
Jo: That would be a Birdhouse Hoodie, good choice.

Jo: yea it is. I am going to get myself a blind hoodie and a Zero Hoodie and a DC hoodie. Now for jeans Probably some Santa Cruz Jeans would be the best or some World Industries possibly Black Label would probably work well too so would Birdhouse, Blind and Foundation.
Blair: (look’s around) I like these black ones with The Santa Cruz Sign stamped on the side pocket.
Jo: Ok. They are a good choice.
Nat: I found some Blue Birdhouse pants that I will get.
Jo: sounds cool. I’ll get a pair of Black Blind pants (BTW all the pants are skate pants which if u don't know what they look like they are cargo pants that are really loose and baggy that no matter how small u get them u still need a belt!) and I will get some Foundation pants. And some Santa Cruz pants like Blair has. Now for belts, I advise that you get the belt with the same name as ur pants cuz then it don't look to weird.
Blair: ok (finds a belt)
Nat: Sure (also finds a belt)
Jo: (finds her belts and gets some extra in Birdhouse for some of her other pants and some in Element. Now we get some shoes, Etnies and Es are the best along with DC’s. So take your choice.
Jo: (gets some gray DC’s with the word DC on the side in orange.)
Blair: (gets some black Es’s with a blue stripe on the side going all the way around the shoe.)
Nat: (gets some Etnies that are blue with white black laces.)
Jo: ok now you may want a t-shirt cuz it might be hot and u can wear it under your hoodie and take ur hoodie off if you get hot.
Blair: ok (gets a Santa Cruz t-shirt to go with her pants)
Nat: (gets a birdhouse t-shirt)
Jo: (gets a blind t-shirt a foundation t-shirt and a Santa Cruz t-shirt) You may want a wallet cuz a purse wouldn’t really go very well with what you are wearing.
Blair: I can’t believe Jo is giving us fashion advice. Ok I’ll get this Element wallet. Why does it have a chain on it?
Jo: The chain attaches to your pocket or belt loop and that way no one can steal ur wallet with out you noticing and it also looks good.
Blair: ok
Nat: I’ll get this Birdhouse one that matches my hoodie.
Jo: ok I’m getting a new one cuz mine is warn out I almost always get a Blind wallet. I am also getting a new board cuz mine is getting too warn out. (Goes over to the boards and picks up a Blind board that she likes cuz it has good pop, has a nice concave, has a fine grip tape and has a nice set of wheels) you guys can get a skateboard if u want to but I figured you wouldn’t want one.
Blair: I’ll get one. Which one is a good one?
Jo: I’d go with either a Zero or a Blind or a Birdhouse, Element would also be a good choice.
Blair: I’ll get the element one cuz it goes with my hoodie and wallet.
Nat: I guess I’ll go on a spending spree and get one. I’ll get a Birdhouse. (Gets the birdhouse)
Jo: if u have a board ur gonna need a helmet and some pad’s. (Goes over toward the helmets and hats.)
Blair: is their any certain one we should buy?
Jo: not really I normally buy the one of the ones that is the same brand as my board. (goes and grab’s a blue helmet with the blind logo on it.)
Blair: (also gets a blue helmet except it has the element logo)
Nat: (goes and grabs a black helmet with a birdhouse logo on it.)
Jo: now for hat’s u can get one if you want I am. (Grabs a black blind hat)

Jo: (takes some of the stuff out and puts it on some chairs in the waiting room) I got a blind hoodie and a Zero Hoodie and a DC hoodie, a pair of Black Blind pants some Blue Foundation pants. And some Gray Santa Cruz pants. Along with a Blind wallet and a Santa Cruz t-shirt, DC shoes with DC socks and a Blind Board, along with a blind helmet and pad’s, and a silver Blind watch.
Mark: Wow, you think you got enough?
Jo: Yea I do.
Blair: I got (tells him what she got) (I don't want to type everything everyone else got so I am gonna cut them short)
Nat: I got (tells him what she got)
Mark: wow. I’m sure that Dane and Paul will be impressed.
Blair: now what about makeup.
Mark: I’ve seen you with out makeup and you don't look bad with out it why don't you try to go with out it.

Jo: you never go any where with out your make up.
Blair: I am going to try a change do you have a problem with that?

Mark: while you were gone I called Dane and Paul and they said that they would love to go out with you guys and I also called Jeff he wont be in town until next week and that's when he said he and Tootie will go out.
Jo: ok. We can go out while their out or all three couples can have dinner the same time.
Blair: that’s a good idea we could all eat at the hotel it has good food and we can all sit together.
Nat: yea.
Mark: then it is set I’ll tell the guys. They are coming tonight.

Mark: they said 6:00.
Blair: we better get back to the hotel so we have 1 hour to be ready in.

(They go tell Tootie and Mrs. G about their dates and they leave to get ready)

Mark: thank you (he has on Foundation pants with a foundation shirt with a Foundation hoodie with DC shoes on and DC socks with a Foundation Belt and a Foundation wallet and with a Foundation hat on backwards and finally a silver foundation watch)
Jo: I’m going to see how Blair is doing ok?
Mark: ok, (Kisses her goodbye)
Jo: (kisses back then leaves) (enters Blair’s and her room)

Blair: (surprised that Jo said that she looked fantastic and figured she must really look good in her new look.) So do you. Do I really look that good in my new look?
Jo: I think it looks like it would be more comfortable and practical and yes it does look fantastic on you. Only one thing needs fixing.

Jo: (goes over and turns Blair’s hat around so it is backwards.) that.

Jo: yep only we have to take it off when we leave the room, but oh well.
Blair: yea. Well we should go check on Nat.
(They leave for Nat’s room that she is sharing with Tootie.)
Jo: (knocks then enters) hey Nat.

Nat: yep.

Blair: Thank you. Mark told me you looked good but not as good as him well he was wrong, you look much better than him. He looks good but you look marvelous.
Dane: thank you, do you know what is good to eat here? I have never ate at a Hilton before.
Blair: Well the ________ (put in a name I don't know of any meals that the Hilton has) is very good.
Dane: then I will have that. I think I can trust your judgment you sound like you eat here a lot.
Blair: yea my family has a special deal that when ever any of my family or friends stay at a Hilton they can get a free suite, or as many as they need.
Dane: wow your family must have a lot of money. But let me say one thing, I will never love you for your money only for your self.
Blair: (can tell he is a special guy) thank you. All the guys I normally date go out with me so they can get a hold of my money. But you, your different your special. Thank you.
Dane: your welcome. So what do you do in your spare time?
Blair: What spare time, between college, working in Mrs. Garrett’s shop and fighting over closet space and the bathroom with Jo, Nat, and Tootie I don't have much time but normally it is just hanging out or shopping.
Dane: who is Mrs. Garrett and I think I heard of Tootie Isn’t that the girl that Mark said he would fix her up with Jeff?
Blair: Yes, when Jo, Nat, Tootie and I were at Eastland (tells the whole story of how they came to live with Mrs. G and how they stayed together.)
Dane: wow, you guys must really be close.
Blair: yea we are. What do you do?
Dane: well I am in college at Langley. I was at NYU but I moved over to Langley this year. For money as Mark has already told you I am a Olympic swimmer and I also race motocross and get 32,000 for every race I win that is a small race for the bigger races events I get paid more. Right now I am looking for a place to live in Peekskill. I saw a nice looking place above a office next to the place you said you worked Edna’s Edibles?
Blair: I have seen those they look awfully nice.
Dane: yea they do I’m seriously considering moving in there. I think I will I am going to take one last look there tomorrow then I will probably buy one. When I do get it my brother Paul the one you met earlier will probably move in next door to me and Mark is moving in across from me.
Blair: well that sounds good to me. Maybe that way we can see each other more often
Dane: yea hopefully we can.
(Waiter comes over and they order their meals (BTW they are both having water to drink)
(Nat and Paul’s table)
Nat: so Paul what do you do?
Paul: I’m going to be attending Langley in the fall. And Mark probably already told you what I do for a living.
Nat: yea he did. I am also going to attend Langley (BTW u know how Nat didn’t attend Langley during season 7 well I’m changing that) this fall, and I work in a gourmet food shop with Jo, Blair, Tootie, and the owner and long time friend.
Paul: I think I have heard of Tootie, is she the one that is going to go out with Jeff?
Nat: yea she’s the one.
Paul: cool. So where do you live?
Nat: I live above the food shop we have a up stairs we live in along with the back of it which is a living room.
Paul: nice, I think my brother was looking at a place next door to that shop is it called Edna’s Edibles?
Nat: yea he must be looking at the apartment above the office below it.
Paul: yea I am probably going to move to that building in the room right next door to him and Mark will be across the hall.
Nat: great idea.
(The waiter comes over and they order)
(Mark and Jo’s table, they have already ordered and have their food)
Mark: I’ve been meaning to ask you this, would you move in with me?
Jo: yes. How much privacy would we get if we stayed where I am at now.
Mark: that’s great and I am moving to a apartment right next door to the shop I’m moving in across the hall from where Dane and Paul bought apartments so you will still be near everyone.
Jo: You are such a sweetie.
Mark: thank you. How is your food?
Jo: delicious. Yours?
Mark: Simply Devine. So how was shopping with Blair and Nat?
Jo: pretty good. It’s better when I take them somewhere they aren’t used to the types of clothes sold. The kept asking me what to get which is why they look so good tonight.
Mark: you did a lovely job.
Jo: thank you.
Mark: what do you say we go to a movie after dinner?
Jo: sure sounds good. What movie do you want to see?
Mark: doesn’t matter we probably wont see much of it anyway.
Jo: your right.
(Back to Dane and Blair’s table they have received their food and are finished eating and waiting for their bill.)
Dane: would you like to go for a walk in the park after we get our bill?
Blair: that sounds great I cant tell you the last time I have walked in the park.
Dane: well your going to have to tell me how to get their considering I don't know this town extremely well.
Blair: ok. Did you drive here or take a cab from the train station?
Dane: I drove here in my corvette.
Blair: ok
(Now at Nat and Paul’s table they have also waiting for the bill, and Nat has told him all about Mrs. G being in the hospital)
Paul: after we get the bill you wanna go see how your friend Mrs. Garrett is doing? I would really like to meat her.
Nat: that sounds great.
Paul: ok I brought my car with me.
Nat: oh really what kind of car.
Paul: it’s a blue mustang convertible.
Nat: wow! Nice!
Paul: thanks.
(every one has received their bills and told the others where they were going.)
(Dane and Blair’s walk threw the park)
Dane: you have the most beautiful eyes.
Blair: thank you. You are the tallest man I have ever dated and I think I like it.
Dane: thank you. I heard you and everyone else has to participate in a trial?
Blair: yea (explains everything)
Dane: Wow. I’m sorry you all had to go threw that.
Blair: so am I, but it will all be over in a few days.
Dane: that's good. Look at those stars they are beautiful.
Blair: yea they are. I think I am falling in love with you.
Dane: I have been falling in love with you from the moment I laid my eyes on you.
Blair: (kisses him at first it is a gentle kiss but soon turns deep and passionate.)
Dane: (kisses back and finally ends the kiss) you are the best kisser I have ever met.
Blair: you aren’t so bad your self hot stuff.
Dane: thanks.
Blair: (shiver’s) it seems to have turned a bit chilly out
Dane: (takes his coat off and puts it on Blair)

Dane: yea I will be all that matters is you.

(Nat and Paul visiting Mrs. G and Tootie)

Paul: (tells her about him self)
Mrs. G: well you sound like a great guy. If you two will excuse me I am getting kind of tired and am going to go to sleep now.
The others: ok (leave)

Jo: (kissing mark deeply in the back of the theater and then breaks it) what is this movie about anyway??
Mark: (kisses Jo and then ends it) I don't know. All I know is I am having a good time.

Mrs. G: well it is nice to meet you to. Do you live in Peekskill?
Dane: I am moving to Peekskill this week. I have transferred to Langley and am going to move into a apartment next door to your shop my brother Paul is going to move in to the place next to mine and Mark is going to move in across the hall.
Mrs. G: that is great
Blair: I know!
Dane: Have you met Paul yet?
Mrs. G: yea I have. He is as nice of man as you.
Blair: sorry to cut this short but we have to go
Mrs. G: that’s ok I’ll talk to you later.
Blair: ok see you soon bye.
(Blair and Dane leave the room)
Dane: she is a very nice lady.
Blair: Yea she is. (Passionately kisses him)

Narrator: It has been 1 week and Blair and Dane have been seeing each other almost every second the have free until it is time to go home and sleep. Paul and Nat have hit it off and are also seeing a each other every spare moment. Mrs. G who is now out of the hospital and is living at home with everyone else since they had the trial and everything went as planed and Jason and Harrison went to jail for life sentence. Jo has told Mrs. G and the girls about moving in with Mark and they are working on packing her stuff and moving it next door. Tootie has met Jeff and they are becoming close as they go on dates almost every night.
(The house Blair and Dane are sitting on the couch talking while everyone else is upstairs.)
Dane: Blair I know I barely known you for more than a week but I love you and (gets down on one knee) I want you to marry me I will understand if you say no-
Blair: Yes I would love to marry you I love you sooooo much!!!!
Dane: I love you too!! (kisses her) now for the next question do you want to move in with me?
Blair: yes lets go upstairs and get packing.
(they head upstairs)
Jo: hey why are you guys up here I though you hated packing.

Jo: well now that every thing is unpacked and Mrs. G will let me keep my bike in her driveway we are threw.

Jo: (making breakfast while trying to figure out if she should tell him about the baby.) (to herself) I wont tell him right now maybe I can use it as something to cheer him up after a hard semester.

Jo: no. I guess I thought it would be like a surprise for him when he came home from a long semester. Mrs. G I don’t think I’m ready to be a mother. I hardly was around mine she was gone working during the time I was home and when she was home I was gone.
Mrs. G: well Blair came by earlier and told me she couldn’t have a baby. Maybe just maybe you could go threw with the pregnancy and Blair could adopt your baby and when the time is right you and Blair could tell him or her.
Jo: I like the idea. I’ll call Blair (calls Blair and tells her to come over)
(Blair enters the door)
Blair: what do u guys need?
Jo: well Mrs. G came up with the idea that since u can’t have children maybe I could go threw with this pregnancy and you could adopt the baby?
Blair: I love it. But what about Mark what would he say.
Jo: I don’t know I didn’t tell him. (looks away)
Blair: so he doesn’t know?
Jo: no he has no clue and never will I don’t plan on telling him.
Blair: well that will be hard to do when the child grows up and wants to know who her dad is.

(1 hour later at Mrs. G’s place Jo, Blair, Dane, and Mrs. G are sitting in the living room discussing all the details of the adoption process.)

(Four Months pass and Jeff and Tootie have been going steady Nat and Paul are working their way threw Nat’s pregnancy. Dane and Blair keep thinking about the new baby that will soon be brought into their lives. Now Jo is a whole other story she had been depressed lately since Mark isn’t around and everyone is worried about her and the baby. They have found out that the baby is a boy, Her and Mark talk every day but it just isn’t the same for her. Mrs. G has been helping Jo threw her tough times and is also helping Blair get ready to become a mother.)
Jo: (gloomy look) Mrs. G, I don’t feel very good do u have any Advil?
Mrs. G: yea but I am taking you to the doctors and we are going to check and make sure everything is ok.
Jo: (too sick to argue) ok lets go.
Mrs. G: (drives her and Jo to the hospital)
(the hospital, Jo has been taken to a room and tests are being run.)
(1 hour later)
Dr. Bentley: Jo Polniaczek?
Mrs. G: yes. (stands and walks over to the doctor)
Dr. Bentley: Jo has had a miss carriage. She is ok. She is in room 344 if you have any questions please ask.
Mrs. G: (worried about how Jo is doing) no I don’t have any.
Dr. Bentley: ok if any thing comes up please have one of the staff page me my name is Dr. Bentley.
Mrs. G: ok thank you
Dr. Bentley: Your welcome (walks away)
Mrs. G: (goes to Jo’s room)

Jo: the doctor said I have to stay the night for observation could you go home and tell Blair I don’t know if I’m up to telling her.

Mrs. G: Blair, I have some news for you. You’d better sit down.
Blair: what is it about (sitting down)
Mrs. G: well I noticed Jo wasn’t feeling well and I took her to the hospital and she had a miss carriage and the doctors said she would have to stay overnight.
Blair: (obviously sad but not as sad for the baby as she was for Jo) I guess that’s how it was meant to be then. I think we should call Mark and tell him everything. Maybe he will come back and bring her out of depression.
Mrs. G: this is the first one of your Brilliant Ideas that might actually be brilliant!
Blair: thank you. (calls Mark tells him about the baby and the miss carriage and how much Jo is really missing him)
Mark: well is she ok?
Blair: yea, she’s devastated but ok.
Mark: so that is why she was even more sad than possible when I left. The miss carriage was probably my fault if only I had been there.
Blair: It’s ok I just think it may be a good idea for you to come back to Langley for Jo’s sake she isn’t as cheer full or as happy as she was when you were around.
Mark: then that settles it I’m coming back.
Blair: ok. I wont tell Jo we bring you out as a suprize.
Mark: I’ll be down tonight.
Blair: that’s great. I’ll tell everyone else.
Mark: ok I’ve got to go or I wont be able to be there by tonight.
(They hang up and Blair calls everyone else and tells them about what happened and who’s coming back)
(5 hours later the door bell rings)
Blair: Mark! Hey!!! (gives him a hug) we missed you.
Mark: I missed all of you guys too. I have to get to the hospital to see Jo I just wondered if any one else wanted to go?
Blair: We have all already seen her It’s you turn.
Mark: ok I’ll see you later.

Mark: well Blair called me today and told me everything and I figured I should stay with you. I’m going to go back to Langley. UCLA was too far away from you. I was miserable every day.

Nat- No way! He seems like he is on the abusive side when he drinks. That reminds me of when I was raped. It scares me to death, Mrs. G.

Blair: well Mrs. G and Nat have decided to hold a intervention for him then send him to rehab along with AA.
Dane: that’s a great idea and I’d love to support it.
Blair: I’m gonna call Jo and tell her.
Dane: no problem u do that and I’m going to call Mark on my cell.
Blair: perfect.
(Blair calls Jo and tells her everything that she found out and Jo tells her that they should all discuss it right after she gets out of the hospital which will be when she is threw signing the papers)
Dane: (Calls Mark)
Mark: hello?
Dane: hey I’ve got some news for you.
Mark: what is it?
Dane: Paul was drinking earlier today and Nat was in the way of his destructive path.
Mark: is she ok?
Dane: yea Blair said she was fine well at least that’s what Mrs. G said to Blair.
Mark: I had totally forgot about his drinking. I just noticed that ever since I met Jo I haven’t even thought about drinking or any thing that connects to it, like mom and dad.
Dane: yea. I know what u mean. I guess Paul thought of something that made him think about it (Mark knows what it is) (Authors note you’ll find out what it is later) We’re going to hold a intervention for him along with him going to rehab and AA treatment, something that should have been done a long time ago.
Mark: Yea does Jo know?
Dane: yea Blair called her and told her. She said as soon as she’s done filling out the papers she’ll come home with you she knows you know.
Mark: ok. We’re gonna leave right now so I gotta go I’ll be there soon meet me at Mrs. G’s house.
Dane: ok Bye.
Mark: bye.
(both hang up)
(at the hospital)
Jo: lets go Mark.
Mark: no problem I’m parked right outside.
(They leave and head to Mrs. G’s house)
(At Mrs. G’s house Tootie (who was called), Blair, Dane, Mrs. G, Nat, Mark, Jo and Mark, Dane, and Paul’s father who was called for the event are sitting inside in the living room talking about how to set the intervention up)
Jo: well the sooner the better for this sort of thing.
David (Dane’s Mark’s and Paul’s Father): Jo’s right. I think we should do it tonight.
Blair: where will we hold it?
Nat: how about here, it’s big and there’s a lot of seating.
Mrs. G: ok so I’m going to get one of those people who hold these things. (Calls the lady that did Jinny from TD’s intervention.) Ok I’ve got someone to do it she’ll be here at 7:00 pm tonight.
Mark: ok I’ll find a way to get Paul here.
Jo: ok then its settled 7:00 tonight.
Mark: ok we all better get back so we can get ready.
Everyone: ok.
(They all head back to their homes.)
(At Marks and Jo’s home)
Jo: why does he drink like that?
Mark: besides the fact he’s a alcoholic?
Jo: ya.
Mark: you should find out at the intervention.
Jo: Ok (knows he’s hiding something) I’ll wait.
Mark: thanks, and Jo do you ever wonder why I never order anything alcoholic? It’s because I used to drink but I quit.
Jo: ok as long as you quit and wont drink again.
Mark: I promise I wont.
Jo: k.
(That night at the intervention)
(Mark walks in with Paul and Paul thinks it’s supposed to be a party.)
Paul: What the hell is this (sees everyone sitting down and two seats empty one for mark and one for him.)?
Mark: (sits down)
Sandra: (intervention lady) This is an intervention.
Paul: Who are you?
Sandra: I’m Sandra. I hold interventions. Your loved ones were very worried about your drinking and they don’t want to loose you.
Paul: If you think I’m just gonna stand here and let you crap all over me you’re out of your damn minds. And you (looks at Nat) you know better then this I thought you loved me. I’m out of here. (Goes to leave)
Nat: Paul (Goes after him but Sandra stops her and tells her to let her go after him she deals with this all the time.)
(Paul and Sandra come in Paul still isn’t happy with the idea but finally agrees to the intervention but still doesn’t want to do it.)
Paul: so what is there assigned seating or something?
Sandra: no you can sit wherever you want. I asked everyone before you got here to think of what they admire and what their concerns about you are.
Paul: fine I’ll just sit right here. (sits down)
Nat: I guess I’ll go first on the admire and concerns thing. I love you so much I don’t want to loose you.
Paul: yea if u loved me you wouldn’t be torturing me like this
Nat: No, It’s because I do love you that I am. I want you to be the father of my child and you know that. I admire the fact that you always find a way to comfort me when I’m down. But I’m afraid of you when you’re drunk you scare me, that’s not the Paul I love. The Paul I love is kind caring and just plain great.
Paul: (doesn’t say anything just hangs his head in guilt.)
Mark: I guess I’m next. Paul you’re the best little brother ever. You’re so smart; I remember I always had to ask you for help on my homework. I’m concerned that with your drinking you’ll someday kill yourself. I don’t want that to happen. But every time you take a drink I think your getting stupider and stupider.
Paul: Oh please come on apparently everyone is able to crap all over me tonight so please step right up.
(Everyone else goes, I’d continue writing the rest in but that would probably take me forever lol)
David: I have something to add. Paul do u know how proud I was the day you got into Langley? I know I’m not real good at this sort of thing but…a…I really don’t have much to say about the drinking part
Paul: why not dad?? Afraid where it might lead?? Afraid that it might come to terms of how you drink to much
Sandra: Paul this isn’t about your father this is about you.
David: sure I like to have a couple of beers but that never really interfered with anything.
Sandra: its not how much you drink its why you drink, and what happens to you when you drink.
Paul: do you remember taking your first drink?
David: that’s a long time ago. Actually I do me and my buddies stole a six pack and drank behind the corner store we threw up all over the damn place.
Paul: do you remember my first drink?
(David shakes his head)
Paul: I was 11 we were camping in the Mountains, Mom and Dane had gone to bed, you Mark and I stayed up to look at the sky and all the sudden you handed me a beer,
David: don’t start with the excuses I did a damn good job I may not be the best father but I did a damn good job you never ever ever wanted anything
Paul: You gave me a beer.
David: SO WHAT this is MY fault?
Paul: of course not dad cause nothing could be your fault because you did nothing
David: guess what I don’t have to sit here and take this
Sandra: John please
David: I’m here for you.
Dane: Dad just sit down
Paul: tell me something dad.
Dane: Paul don’t
Paul: just answer one question
Dane: Leave him alone
Paul: You say you want to help me… maybe just maybe the answer will help me… Why? Why did she do it?
David: Paul c’mon
Paul: she was your wife, ya she was my mother. But she was your WIFE! Of thirty years, you must have a clue an inkling as to why my mother and your wife of 30 years would put a gun in her mouth and blow her head off!
David: (cringes) Paul
Nat: Paul hunney please…
Paul: what…WHAT, I thought everyone here was so anxious to get to the truth as to why I drink so much.
(Silence)
David: I don’t know why.
Paul: what?
David: I don’t know why she did it Paul. I’ve been asking my self that question for years
Paul: well you know something… I don’t believe you….What was it? Was she depressed? Were you fighting? Were you out doing some other woman were you not doing it with her? WHAT WAS IT????
David: that is none of your damn business
Paul: YES IT IS!!! IT IS MY DAMN BISNEUSS…THIS IS VERY MUCH MY DAMN BISNEUSS SHE WAS MY MOTHER!!! YOU ONLY KISSED HER ONCE… my g-d WHAT PLACE DO YOU HAVE TO BE AT TO SHOOT YOUR SELF IN YOUR OWN HOME KNOWING YOUR FAMILY IS GOING TO FIND YOU? TELL ME DAMN Y0U TELL ME!
David: I wish I knew I don’t know what happened or why… I wish I knew…Paul(kinda drags the name on u know what I mean)
Nat: (goes over and holds him only he pulls away harshly)
Paul: All right I know what you all want to hear so I’ll say it. I drink too much there you go everybody happy? And you know what I never drank at school.
Dane: I’ve seen you
Mark: so have I.
Paul: so what that doesn’t make me a addict a addict is someone who cant quit… am I right? I never tried quit if I said I’ll never take a drink again then take one tomorrow then I’d be a addict so you don’t have a case against me
Nat: Oh no yes we do. We found these stashed away in your old apartment and in your car. How could you not tell me… I love you.
Paul: THIS IS JUST SUCH A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!!! Intervention please this is just a which hunt so you can throw stones at me. Oh poor Paul why don’t we stand him up in front of all of us and tear her apart for a couple of hours. Maybe he’ll find God or a Buda or some sort of higher being so he
might actually look forward to looking up in the morning.
Sandra: Paul I know you feel ambushed
Paul: and you actually paid for this assignation how do you pay for something like this do you just chip in like you’d do for a party, where are the hats? Where are the noisemakers? I just love a damn party favor!
Sandra: do you ever ask yourself why you like to drink?
Paul: who said I liked it? When I found my mom I had just gotten home from school. My dad wasn’t home from work yet Mark was out riding your motorcycle Dane I think you were at a friends house…I remember I had a pretty good day at school I got a B+ on a Algebra test and I knew my mom was gonna be real happy about that cause she really got off on stuff like that so when I came home I called out for her but I didn’t here anything so I went to the bedroom there was such a strange smell I didn’t know what it was then I saw her two feet sticking out from the bathroom I remember I flashed on the wicked which of the east the one that Dorothy landed on (starts to cry)I went over to the door she must have fallen hit her head on the toilet or something because the whole side of her head was open then I realized what the smell was it was blood, blood there was soooo much blood I just stood there I couldn’t move I must of screamed because mark came in pushed me out of the way then black and whites they found the gun and put it in a bag they put her in a bag too. Dad, I remember your face because it looked like someone shot the side of your head off too. I knew you were in the living room and I knew you were drinking I remember the sound that the ice made… crackling in the glass as you kept pouring. I thought god that must feel good to drink and forget everything make your mind like a big blackboard use booze to erase all the thoughts that are going threw your mind all the questions…guilt…just keep pouring let it all slip away like sand threw your fingers till there’s nothing left…god I wanted to feel that way too
David: (goes over to him) Paul it wasn’t your fault she killed herself.
Paul: but maybe just maybe if I had been a little better she would of loved me.
David: Oh Paul she did love you she loved you soooo much (Paul, Mark, Dane and David all hug and cry together.) god did she love you.
Nat: (brings out the stuff they packed for rehab)
Paul: all packed huh.
Sandra: We made you a reservation at Kings point rehab center. It’s one of the best in the country. They are expecting us ready to go?
Paul: I guess it would be for the best if I did huh? You uh mind if I say good bye?
Sandra: take all the time you need we leave first thing in the morning be ready by 6:00 sharp.
Paul: thanks
Sandra: ok then I’ll be back at 6:00. bye c ya later.
(everyone says good bye)
Paul: I’m sorry for all the crap I threw at you guys I know I didn’t mean it I was just protecting myself.
Jo: we know you don’t have to apologize
Paul: Thanks (hugs her) Bye
Jo: bye. Mark, I’ll meet you at home k?
Mark: K
(Jo leaves)
Tootie: We’ll miss you Paul (hugs him)
Paul: thanks Tootie. Bye
Tootie: bye.
(Tootie goes up stairs to her room so she can leave the others alone.)
Blair: I’m sorry about all the pain you’ve went threw we love you (hugs him)bye.
Paul: thanks Blair. Bye
Dane: (goes over to him and hugs him tight) you could of told me I could of helped you. I love you so much! I’ll miss you. Get better ok?
Paul: Ok I love you too. Bye
Dane: bye. (follows Blair out)
Mark: Paul I don’t know what to say. When I stopped I thought you would I guess I was being crazy but I hope you get threw this you have a woman that loves you and friends that love you. You will do great I know it I love you man I’ll see you soon huh?
Paul: yea (hugs him tightly) bye I’ll miss you.
Mark: bye I’ll miss you too.
(Mark leaves)
David: I’m sorry I don’t know. I love you so much so did she I just want to let you know that whenever you need me I’m here for you u know that right?
Paul: ya I do dad I do (Hugs him tight) I’ll miss you bye
David: bye.
(David leaves
Mrs. G: you may think that we don’t care but we do. We love you like family. And if you ever need any sort of motherly advice come to me ok?
Paul: ok thanks. if I ever get sent to the hospital for something and I need to put down parents can I put u down on the mother spot I’ve always had to leave that spot blank.
Mrs. G: sure. I’ll miss you
Paul: I’ll miss you too. (hugs her)
Mrs. G: bye
Paul: bye
(Mrs. G: goes to her room upstairs)
Nat: well shall we go home.
Paul: yea lets go I have some things I need to clear up with you.
Nat: ok
(they go home)
(at Paul and Nat’s home)
Paul: I’m sorry for saying you don’t love me I know you do I was just trying to defend my self. I shouldn’t of done that I love you soooo much! I promise I’m going to get away from this terrible addiction. I love you.
Nat: I know your sorry and I know you’ll get threw it. I love you too. (kisses him and it leads to something) (you know what I’m talking about but I’m gonna be good and not go into any further detail.)
(next morning at 6:00)
Paul: (is ready to go and is saying goodbye to Natalie) I’ll see you soon ok?
Nat: ok bye
Paul: bye (goes to Sandra’s car and they leave)
