When I was about nine or ten, my dad had gotten mad at me and my brother and he said that we could not watch television the rest of the day, unless it was something he turned on. So he turned on Lifetime and "The Golden Girls" were on. My brother's and my first reaction: "This is a show for old people! It's stupid!" And one year later, I turned on Lifetime and watched it -- I loved it! I had never cracked up so hard! And for the past four years now, I've watched it almost every single day. But I still can't believe that my first reaction to the show was that it was stupid.

Here at school, I watch GG every night at 11 and 11:30. My friend, Nick, would always come up to our room to hang out, but as soon as it hit 11:00 and the opening credits started, he'd say, "Ok, that's my cue to leave." Now, a few months later, he actually comes up at 11:00 to watch it with me! It was so funny because, at first, he would leave. Then, well, he wouldn't leave but he just refused to laugh at it, then he started laughing at it, now he makes a point to come watch it. LOL! It's funny how people can have such a mental block against things.

I used to watch it everytime I had a sleepover, whether my friends wanted to or not..lol!One of my friend's absolutely hated the show, but her younger sister loved it and she'd always be like, "Man, I wish I woulda been there!"
