Did anyone else notice that on "Beaver's Team" (just shown on TVLand), that when Ward goes over to the football field to watch Beaver use his "old 98" secret football move, his voice appears to be dubbed as he talks with Wally? I watched it a couple of times, and I don't think it's Hugh Beaumont's voice. Wally's voice (and Beaver's, since Ward's voice seems dubbed then also) sounds right.

I can't think of any reason to dub the voice; if there was a mike problem, Wally's and Beaver's voices would have had a problem. Surely there was no sort of "objectionable" remark that was OK in a 1960 show but not OK now, and Wally's and Beaver's responses seem consistent with the words that supposedly are coming from Ward's mouth.

There has been discussion that Wards voice was indeed dubbed perhaps he was sick or hoarse when that episode was shot because it sounds dubbed at different times during the episode.

Yes, it really is a strange occasion in this epsiode. From what I've heard, it was a windy day, and for some reason Ward's voice was unrecognizable. So, they had to redub his voice. I don't know why Wally's and Beaver's voices came so clear but Ward's didn't. I think the redubbed voice that you hear really is Ward's, it just still sounds funny, since it was produced in the studio. :)
