10 year old boy in high school lol

i could never understand the point of moving a kid thats in the 4th grade and put him in the 10th grade with a bunch of hormonal teenagers i mean in the show he seems to blend in really well with the students in his high school even tho they were 6 years older than him, they could have least skipped him 3 grades put him in the 7th grade he would be around other kids close to his age, could a 10 year old boy survive survive high school life with teens twice his age.

That was the whole point of the show! Although the kid was intellectually the equal of his high school peers socially he was a "fish out of water". and that's where the comedy in this show came from.

TJ would have no problem fitting in high school in real life even if he was younger are smarter than the other students in high school, nowadays most people at his school would think he was a 15 year old that was a midget and looks like a 8 year old boy its not uncommon in the pilot episode TJ is looking for his locker mo said are you one of those glandular cases i guess mo thought TJ was a teenager going threw late puberty lol

i dont think that 9 year old midget kid is going to fit in well with college people that are in their 20's that kid is not even close to being a teenager, TJ was so smart they could have put him in college he would be finished by the time he was 14 after graduation he would have his own career and maybe an apartment but i guess they thought he would not last long with adults they would just ignore him like a ghost, so they just put him in the 10th grade to make marcus be his bodyguard to make sure school bully guys dont beat him up after school lol.
