I'm I the only one who got worn out by having the girls do something stupid (e.g. stealing the school van to go to an adult bar and drinking booze) at the start of each season (during the Eastland years) and Mrs. Garrett having to bail them out from getting expelled. I could understand having them work for Mrs. Garrett in the cafeteria in order to given the four main girls and excuse to have to stick together and be near Mrs. Garrett. But to have them punished again at the start of the next season (by grounding them, not having any TV privileges or dates for the next two months, while still being on probation) is really getting torturous. It's as if the writers had to maintain the the status quo so to speak.
