Report: Fox Cancels "Breaking In"
May 10, 2012
by Lindsay Silberman

Fox has canceled "Breaking In", Deadline reports.

The cancellation will make room for new comedies "It's Messy", "Ben & Kate" and "The Goodwin Games", all of which Fox ordered to series Wednesday.

The news doesn't come as a huge surprise — it was previously yanked from Fox's lineup for the remainder of the season.

"Breaking In", which stars Christian Slater and Megan Mullally, was pulled just a few weeks later in April.

(it was canceled last season but received a surprise last-minute resurrection)

A network rep declined to comment on the report.

Never seen the show.

it could have been a good show - it really didn't seem to have a very good handle on what it wanted to be or have any real direction - at times it didn't know if it was a comedy or a action-drama, or who knows what, and the changes they made after the first cancellation improved it, but not by much.

I liked the show but I hated to see Odette Annable leave. I also wasn't that crazy about Meagan Mullally's character on the show.
