Im going to list 8 different cases (some may not have been on UM), and then give your opinions on what happened.
1. Morgan Nick
2. Michaela Garecht
3. Nyleen Kay Marshall
4. Johnny Gosch
5. Etan Patz
6. Jacob Wetterling
7. Kevin Andrew Collins
8. Haleigh Cummings

Unfortunately, since most child abductions by strangers tend to be for sexual purposes, the children are usually killed within hours or days of the abduction.
Of the 8 children you listed, I'm only really familiar with the first 6 cases. However, all six were likely stranger abductions, therefore I doubt the children are still alive today.

worst-case scenario for all of them IMO, except for a very slight possibility that Nyleen Kay Marshall could still be alive and living under a different identity/brainwashed (only reason I give any credence to that idea is because of "the letter")
is the Kevin Collins case from 1984? if so, I believe I read about that before and it seemed like he could have been killed by this weird couple that lived nearby and babysat him from time-to-time (while his mom worked).
Unfortunately, I don't think any of them are alive (maybe Nyleen) and that most of them were assaulted and killed within 24 to 48 hours of going missing.

I believe Haliegh Cummings babysitter/stepmother knows what happened to her and has gotten away with it due to lack of evidence. I attibute that to dumb luck as none of these people are too bright except in street smarts. None of them should EVER have a child entrusted to their care.

Interestingly enough, the Michaela Garecht-Johnny Gosch cases have a tenuous connection as Noreen Gosch took the composite sketch of Michaela's abductor and posted it on her website as a possible suspect in the abduction of her son! However, I really doubt that the same man was responsible for both abductions and it's another example of the poor woman reaching for a lead that's just not there. Her website's pretty disturbing, so I won't post the link for it, but you can search for it at your own risk.
I am really interested to see if they anything with this Loren Herzog-Michaela connection though, since the composite sketch really does resemble how he looked back then.

I think it's accurate and that he's the person that took her (they said he might have had an accomplice on that occasion as well?). Too bad he was too much of a coward/selfish piece of crap to ever confess before off-ing himself.
