I love HCTB, probably one of my ten favorite shows ever but I've never considered it a comedy much less a sitcom. There are humor bits in it but then that was true of BONANZA and a lot of other dramas and westerns. Clancy is a comic relief character but I guess you could say that about Festus on GUNSMOKE too. I was very surprised to see a thread for this show on this website, mind you I don't mind it at all, every little bit of internet attention probably helped us to get this show on DVD, first the first season back in 2006 and now the recent release of season two.
