As you can see, this page is cluttered with threads started by me and that haved obtained views but no replies. The same can be said for the pages of "Gimme a Break!" and "Mad About You". I have really tried every trick in the book to try and stimulate some conversation about some of these fine shows! For a while, it has seemed that the only page that I frequent that has been getting any amount of action has been that of "Happy Days". Now even that has slowed down to a trickle! As one more attempt, I am going to post another thread about site traffic. My last thread on this page has thirty-three views and zero replies. Thirty-three years ago, was 1979. There is one TV commercial that came out that year that sticks in my mind. It was for Hot Wheels Cars. I remember the anouncer saying "It's the Hot Wheels Line for 79"! Because I was never really into toy cars, the content of what he said did not really mean very much to me. However, I remember his voice and the fact that he pointed out that there are sixty cars to pick from. Now one thing that I happen to know is that this show's Lea Thompson has two daughters who would probably be in their teenage years by now. Maybe if one or both of them went through a tomboy phrase, they would be interested in playing with some of these sixty cars!
