As I was reading through some old threads on this forum, I came across a "Lost Loves" segment a few of you were talking about. It's about a granddaughter and grandmother and apparently the grandma gets hit by a car. This case sounds so familiar! Any names??

As I was reading through some old threads on this forum, I came across a "Lost Loves" segment a few of you were talking about. It's about a granddaughter and grandmother and apparently the grandma gets hit by a car. This case sounds so familiar! Any names??
The case is of Wendy Radcliffe. Wendy was traveling with her grandmother in 1984 when their car broke down. They called for a mechanic at a restaurant and while they were trying to cross the street, her grandmother was hit by a car. She tried to get help from people in the restaurant and one lady began to consol her as they took her grandmother to the hospital. When Wendy was at the hospital, the woman from the restaurant came back to make sure she was okay. Wendy then learned that her grandmother had died, and the woman tried to help console her as she cried. Wendy wanted to find that woman to thank her for being with her. Karen Barnes was watching the broadcast and identified herself as the unknown woman, and she and Wendy were soon reunited.
