WHat kind of APT is that they live in? Or is it some kind of loft or condo since i see it was a brick wall as a inside wall? Or is this just a ficitional type of place?

Assuming you mean Max and Dave's apartment? Not sure, but it is cool. Jane and Brad (married couple) have their own apartment. Alex and Penny have their own places. All Chicago style places, since the show is set there. Lots of references to the Bulls of the '90s.
