That's exactly how I feel. So I go the ol' elephant cop out routine. I remember everyone. hehe. I agree with you it seems the chitchat board has changed into "do you like me..." and fight posts...I was never really part of any group here but I just liked to come and read posts about what people thought of things...

well, i dont mean this disagreeing with anyone but i may not have been a consistant regular poster the whole time but ive been here since 2000, the boards have had good times but there have been bad times too. i remember first reading a page of chitchat and thinking "omg this is so boring..." and returning to the individual tv boards.... then people came and chitchat apparently got a lot better from there. now maybe it isnt as great, but its up and down. its not like it was always awesome and now isnt.

I agree with Chris. It has really changed. I think it's a bunch of reasons why this whole site has changed really. Look at the past boards. You know how the FOL board had hit after hit and post after post? It's so not that way anymore. 1) The show isn't showing anywhere. 2)Maybe we wore out the conversation a long time ago. You can only talk so much about your favorite episode, or your favorite actress, or favorite character. You can only point something out a few times. If we started fresh again on every board, we'd just be repeating ourselves. I came to the FOL board a bit late, but I just reply to posts that interest me. I don't start new topics because I can't think of anything to post and the regulars have already talked about it. I'd be forcing them to repeat themselves if I posted something that has already been talked about.

Like someone else mentioned, we are all getting older. Some of us are in high school and hs does load you down with homework. Some of us are going to college and that's busy too. Some of us are working. That leaves very little time to get on here and talk.

Also, maybe the lack of conversation is the main reason for all these fights. Nothing interesting on here. Hmm..Let me get something going around here. The person picks the first thing that they don't like and then they start a fight. Look at the CC board. Look at all the topics we've discussed before. We've covered everything and we are just coming up with topics that don't interest everybody or it ends up in a fight.
