I havent talked to her in a long time though.. :/ ) I used to talk to alot of ppl before I left for awhile!

Lucyfan is a great guy and all, but boyyyyyy, some of these statements like his ("I know I'm right") really got on my nerves. I was thinking a lot about the creationist thing a lot this weekend, and I've gotten frustrated on how narrow-minded and vindictive
people have gotten in regards to religion. Like what I was saying in the John Lennon post, I remember I had been a Christian for over a year by then, and I used to comfort myself with the same
"I'm right and screw all the pagans" sort of mentality that it took me a while to overcome. I think a lot of us as Christians start out as being very insecure, and being a born-again teen for Jesus was a way to make us feel secure and "special." I found out soon that a lot of my other born-again "friends" weren't so up on my tastes in music or creative writing, I felt really stifled by listening to them. I almost gave up writing poetry for a year.:(
