Keck's Exclusives: A "Community" Death
Feb 12, 2012
by William Keck

There was sadness on the set of NBC's "Community" when a familiar face learned his time at Greendale Community College will soon come to a sudden end.

"A character from the show will die," reveals star Joel McHale.

He says the victim, although probably not one of the comedy's main stars, is "someone you've seen a lot. And he dies in the mid-afternoon."

I have a feeling it's Chevy or Ken, only because they'd need to slash the budget to stick around. Leonard would make sense because of his age, but I'd hate to lose him haha!!

It's probably a minor character, or an animal or something. I don't think Community would go dark enough to kill off a major character.

Leonard or Starburns - maybe Anthony Michael Hall's character

Chevy Chase is a goner...IMO

If my "they're slashing the budget" in order to obtain a fourth season renewal is correct, then I think I'd have to (unfortunately) agree. Could be Annie's Boobs, haha!

This show does dark episodes well though, and I imagine that the death will take place in their upcoming Law & Order homage.

well, now that we know who died - and I won't mention it here (only one person managed to name the character here so far) - what does everyone think?

I don't think they really died - they didn't actually say that they found the body did they? it could be all a over-complicated ruse to get out of trouble for stealing backpacks now that the character has been busted as a thief?
