I am not trying to copy another thread, but I am so annoyed at what happen to me tonight, I just have to tell someone.

I was at wal mart tonight and I was in a long line for checkout, as there were only few registers open with allot of people shopping. 20 minutes later, I'm next in line with a barely half full cart of groceries, when this couple runs in front of me and starts to put their stuff on the checkout counter, and they look at me to say. "Oh you don't mind do you? We're in a hurray. We just have a few things you have almost a full cart" They had atleast 10 items, and I had barely a half cart. What could I do? They already were putting their things on the counter. I just said, "I guess so. I mean you're already loading your stuff. But it would have been courteous if you had asked first" And the girl actually said. "Oh well, too late now" and turned away. That has to be the 1st time this has ever happened to me.

Now there (SIGH) I feel better.

Wow, that's some gall they had. You handled the situation Alot better then I likely would have, so kudos to you for that. I usually let people go before me, but when someone shows that kind of disregard for me, I usually don't react so well. Those who know me wouldn't be surprised if all those people's stuff wound up on the floor. Wouldn't be the first time I have been banned from a store. lol Sorry you had to go through that, but like I said, I do admire your restraint. You are certainly a better person than I.

I was just wondering, did the cashier say anything? You did handle it well. I probably would have done the same as you, but I'd be boiling inside.

Selfish people drive me crazy. I would have told them to get in line like everybody else.

I'd tell them to get over in the express line. I hate shopping at Walmart. A bunch of rude people there.

I rarely had this happen, but something happened to my mom when I was at Marcs and I was with her at the time...some bitch had a lot of nerve to tell my mom that she was being rude while she was putting her stuff down on the register. There's a yellow line for an area to put your stuff down, she also said "I don't know you, but you're just being rude".

I almost was tempted to say this..."BITCH, THAT'S MY MOM YOU'RE TALKING TO! I DON'T TALK TO YOUR MOM THAT WAY, SO I'M GUESSING THAT YOU HAVE NO HUSBAND BECAUSE OF YOUR BITCHY ATTITUDE! SO **** YOU, BITCH"!!!

What Nerve some people have...they ought to be put to sleep! (Sorry, I shouldn't have said that, but that bitch had NO ****ing right to talk to my mom...or anyone's mom that way)!

The one thing I hate about shopping in a grocery store, Walmart or anywhere else is when 2 people stand right in the middle of the aisle and start talking and then don't have the common courtesy to at least move their carts so I can pass by.

In the check-out line, I try to be courteous to other shoppers. If I have a cart full of groceries and the person behind me only has a few items then I will let them go ahead of me provided I haven't already started putting mine on the counter. :)

I also can't stand it when I go into Walmart and see a bunch of people in the check-out lines and only 2 or 3 lanes open when they have at least 25 registers in the store.

I hate it when you are shopping and you are going down and an aisle and there is a person in front of you pushing their cart at snail speed while chatting on the phone. All right, I can understand if you are a grocery store and if you have to call someone to ask them about a particular item that you need, that's one thing but if you are just talking just to talk and for no other reason than that is incredibly rude. Other people have schedules too and shouldn't have to be held up by people who are too inconsiderate to pay attention to the people around them.

I don't know why some people (unfortunately mostly my age in their 60s) still insist on writing out a check. They write out their little check then tear it out of the checkbook. Why don't they just use a debit card; it's the same damn thing! or use cash or credit card. I'm a patient individual, but I don't know why people would hold up the line that way.

No. The Cashier didn't say anything. She didn't even look at them any different. I may have handled it okay, but I did want to tell them off; especially after that girl's oh well attitude. I think the next person that does that to me, if it happens again, wont be as lucky as they were.

It seems like society in general has an "I don't care" attitude in the way we treat others. It's sad. :( I get frustrated by the rudeness I see in the store every single time I go. Luckily, there are still some good, kind-hearted people out there too and they give me hope in this crazy world.

Even cash doesn't guarantee a speedy check out.
I had a hell of a time when I gave them a hundred dollar bill.
The lady held it up to the light, marked on it with a marker, then called for some dude to examine it himself. That took about 10 minutes, holding up the line. They treated me like I just printed that bill. I can't help the way I look, I was born with this face. It made me feel so mad and frustrated, I didn't wait to walk out of the store to unwrap and start chewing on the candy bar I swiped.

Sorry you went through all that; it's not a good feeling to be regarded as a potential criminal.

The cashier always checks my large bills, so one day I decided I was gonna do them the same way. I went to the post office to get some stamps and mail off my car insurance. Well the clerk marked my fifty dollar bill, and when she handed back my change, I held the two twentys up to the light to make her think I was checking to see if they were real. lol She looked at me like she couldnt believe I did that. I was like, well you never can tell, winked at her and turned around and walked out.:D

I usually just roll my eyes or make a face and pray no one really sees me. I do get a bit steamed.

I'm with you. If I have a lot of items I'd probably let someone with 1 or 2 ahead of me. Anyone else tries to get ahead of me, I'll raise a stink. I hate waiting on line, so line jumpers are a real pet peeve of mine.

I hate that when they embarass you by holding up your money; wondering if its fake. It's like those people in Restaurants that run your credit card and if it's declined they practially yel it out. "I"M SORRY MISS/SIR BUT THIS CARD IS NO GOOD!!!! Its like they want to make you feel like crap.

The only other bad thing that happened at a wal mart to me, that I can think of, was 5 years ago. There were these 2 college students from France and they were in front of me in line and were putting down American's, and were doing it speaking french. But I unerstood them because I also speak french. I learned it from my grandmother who married a frenchman after my real grandfather passed away.

I just bounced it back to the girls; saying. "Je suis américain et je parle et comprends le français, et je peux comprendre chaque mot que vous dites"

Which means, "I am American and I speak and understand french, and I can understand every word you're saying" They were so embarassed. They shut up right away.

Don't take it personally if they check your large bills. It's to protect them if the money is counterfeit. I'm sure that happens to everyone.

What I don't like is I have to show my I.D. when I buy some cold medicine. Ugh.

I hate it when people aren't watching where they are going. If you are in a store or someplace and you see the person then they suddenly see you and suddenly stop.
