This is just what most of us wanted. Instead of the "best-ofs," the folks at Warner Bros. have come to their senses and will be releasing the entire series in season-by-season box sets.

Yep - it's true. We've confirmed that Warner will soon release Friends: The Complete First Season on DVD! We don't have an official street date, but word is April 30th according to a few retailers. We'll post more details as soon as they're available.

I hope they'll have as good a transfer as the four volumes of "best-ofs," which I bought knowing full well that the season-by-season sets would be out one day. I just didn't know it would be this soon.
I'm such a chump.
Anyway, this is great news. Hope they don't make us wait too long between subsequent seasons.
