Michigan is under a winter storm watch until tomorrow morning .My mid-Michigan area is supposed to get from 3-5 inches. More further south and less up north. This will be our first snowfall of the season.

Tonight will be our first accumulating snow of the season, although on November 11th and 17th we had quite a few flakes.

Not yet, however we had a small snowstorm a few days before Halloween.
The radio reports said that it hasn't snowed like this before Halloween since the pre-Civil War days.

We had snow right before Thanksgiving but fortunately it wasn't bad at all. Made things a little slippery. Sadly I'm sure a lot more is coming in the future.

We woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning! It is very beautiful with the heavy snow clinging to the trees. A truly winter wonderland!

We've had a little bit of snow, but it all melted. But this is Montana, so I'm sure there will be a ton of it by Christmas, and it will be on the ground until Easter.

It snowed yesterday...but nothing to sneeze at.
We might get lucky...it might snow big time here by January...Christmas at the earliest!

There were a few flakes one day in November, but other than that, it hasn't snowed here yet. I just wish we'll get some snow for Christmas, or it just won't feel right, will it? (I wouldn't mind if it all disappeared by February though.)

We had some snow flurries mixed in with rain several nights ago. Hope we have a white Christmas.

Strong Texas Storm Could Impact Travel Plans

Houston - A strong storm is heading into Texas and could impact holiday travel plans. Some 7.5 million Texans will hit the road and take to the skies over the coming week for Christmas and the New Year. But blizzard-like conditions in the Texas Panhandle and rain in southeast Texas could mean major flight delays.
"That's crazy," said Gordon Willhelm, Passenger. "A blizzard is never good." Travelers at Hobby Airport felt very lucky they flew ahead of the storm and missed it. "If I had waited until Monday night or Tuesday, I might have been stuck in the storm," said Hope Irons, a passenger who flew to Houston from Lubbock.
The Texas Panhandle is under a blizzard warning through Tuesday morning. Snow accumulations through Tuesday could result in 12 to 17 inches of snow. While cities up to the north deal with heavy snow, back home in southeast Texas, folks can expect rain, possible thunderstorms and falling temperatures behind the cold front. Travelers should check their airlines for flight delays. Experts advise passengers to arrive at the airport early and be prepared to wait in long lines this holiday season. They also said you should choose your seat early since airlines bump off passengers who do not have their seats first.

No, but a couple weeks ago we did have slight snow flurries for a little awhile but then it stopped.

We've got a little snow, but the perfect amount. It will probably be a white Christmas, but not any more snow than it's necessary.
OH Nuts!
