He mocked Plaxico Burress getting shot in the leg which led to The Jets getting a short field that led to a TD. LOL What an idiot!

Considering he dropped two key passes that could've helped the Bills win, I guess HE shot himself in the foot.:D

The TD celebration itself was funny, Plaxico is an easy guy to make fun of. And the fact that Plaxico is back in the league after what he did shows that the NFL is not really serious about players and guns.
But Johnson is famous for dropping easy TD passes, he did the same thing last year (against the Steelers I think) and blamed it on God.
Johnson lacks that all-important "focus"

I think the TD celebrations should be outlawed.
So it's okay for Jet players to act like a plane but it's not okay for an opposing player to act like a plane?

I think that what actually offended a lot of people was the fact that Johnson not only imitated the Jets "plane" moves (which consists of holding ones arms out and pretending to fly, not unlike a six year old would do), but he also went tumbling to the ground in a heap, as a way of simulating a plane crash. And I believe it was the crash part that really got to people.
I'm a big fan of players who, after scoring a TD, act as though getting into the end zone is what they're SUPPOSED to do. Chuck Noll used to tell his Steelers, "when you get into the end zone, act like you've been there before". Lynn Swann didn't always follow that advice, but most of the other Steelers did (Franco Harris, John Stallworth, Rocky Blier, Terry Bradshaw etc)

...
I'm all for that!
I don't even understand why the stupid "Lambeau Leap" (now being imitated in other stadiums as well) isn't considered excessive celebration.
