I consider myself a top Brady Bunch authority and I am stumped on this one. Tribune Media Services, the media outlet that does all the episodes for cable/dish network services, describes this episode as the following:

"When the family dog disappears, Bobby fears he may have been run over." I have also seen this referenced in Barry's book, Growing up Brady, which has quite a bit of misinformation in its own right." I own all five seasons of The Brady Bunch on DVD, have seen syndicated and TV Land prints, and I have not once ever hear Bobby say this line. Where is it said in this episode, at what point on the DVD? I remember Carol consoling Bobby in the Boy's Bedroom, and he might have been concerned about what Carol and Alice said about robberies in the neighborhood. Alice wonders if the thieves may have lured Tiger away. This is when the boys get the idea to booby-trap the house.

Sherwood Schwartz story is that the real Tiger was tragically hit by a car. Barry says, "a loaded florist's truck." The original description from Tribune Media Services was the most accurate, saying, "The family dog runs away." What are Bobby's exact lines that are said with regards to his fear of Tiger being run over?

You consider yourself a top 'Brady Bunch' authority, but you don't know that it ran for 5 seasons, not 6???

LOL! I was thinking of watching my LITB DVD's and accidently typed six seasons, for which Beaver ran insteady of five for Brady Bunch. I am correcting this now!

I think this was just an error by the Media Service. Sometimes these summaries pull from old sources, and if one mistake is made, no one corrects it.
